For the Colgate Optic scenario, are you suggesting that we stack ALL those coupons together?

No, those are just all the coupons available – if you use the $1.50/1 (the highest value) you’ll get the lowest price.

I have a whole bunch of the up2u coupons. How many can I buy in a single transaction and still get them for free? Will the $1/2 wags coupon still apply the discount to amounts greater than 2 in the same transaction? Is there a limit? Thanks for your help.
The coupon says there is a limit of 4 at the .99 cents price. I’ve never had an issue with Wags allowing me to get more though. Also the $1/2 wags oct book will deduct according to how many you buy.(so $5 off 10 packs)
I’m a little confused about the UP2U gum price. Won’t the in ad coupon count for a store coupon? So how can you use the walgreens Oct. book coupon too with the MF.Q?
Yes. You are exactly right. You can’t use the in ad coupon and the walgreen’s oct. book coupon. So they won’t be free. The in ad coupon makes them $.99 and then u could put the man q with it and get the gum for $.49.
Athena – It happens all the time. It is not uncommon for there to be (2) Walgreens coupons that you can stack. We usually have a few deals like that every month.
Walgreens “accepts one manufacturer coupon and applicable Walgreens coupon(s) for the purchase of a single item”. Happy Shopping!
The manager at my store said the in ad qpons don’t count as one of your qpons so u can technically have three if one of the qpons is in the ad, he said that is just a ‘sale price’ hope this helps:)
Same here. My three walgreen stores around me all let me use the ad q, WQ, and a MQ for an item. If it beeps, I just bring a 10 cents pencil with me and it’ll work.
Does anyone know what to do if October Coupon Booklets aren’t out yet? Does the coupon inside the booklet have a code? If so, may someone tell me the code? My cashiers at Walgreens generally just memorize/type in the coupon codes instead of scanning the ad…

You can stack an in ad coupon with a monthly book coupon and a man. coupon, so 3 coupons for 1 item. I do it all the time, and the Walgreens coupon policy supports it.
When there are two wags store coupons they have always let me use both. I did it no to long ago with the hot pockets. I can’t wait to get the free gum. I have a bunch of those coupons myself.
any idea on how the optic white will work after the 28th? it will be 3.99 with a 2 rr 8/28-10/22, but it will still be the weekly ad 2/7.98 w 3rr?? Could we get both??

I was reading on another blog that if we use the $5 IP for the Schick that the RR will not print. No clue how or why they determined this but I’m wondering if anyone knows if this is true or just a rumor? TIA!

Not necessarily. If they think we used an RR from Schick to purchase more Schick, they won’t send the RRs. It sounds like to me this is what some are saying this IP is coded as (although I could be mistaken). That’s why I’m trying to find out if anyone knows for sure or where this rumor got started. 🙂

this happened to me before and what it is, the upc numbers on the coupon are exactly the same as the ones on the RR. The machine thinks you used a RR to pay for it with so it won’t print out your RR. If u have a coupon friendly cashier, tell her up front that u think the upc is the same as the RR and is there any way they can override it and force the coupon. THEY CAN its just a matter of if they know how. Mgmt did it for me at my wags with no problem and they did it happily.
I thought we were not suppose to use the $5 quattro coupon from coupons.com because it might not print the RR
Like I said in my RR post – it does happen occasionally when they are coded the same. I don’t think that’s going to be the case this time but I wanted to make people aware of the the possibility.
i have 12 5$ off coupons for the quattros. so if i buy 1 and get the 5$ RR can i turn around and use that RR to buy another and still get a RR? Im trying to figure out how i can get all the razors with a small amout of money OOP…
Is there a possible double dip with the Pampers deal? $5 RR and a $5 catalina? Also, can the $2/1 coupon in the Infant care book be applied as well? It’s worded as big packs or jumbo packs.
andrea- No you cannot use the same RR on the same item purchased. If you do it will not print out an RR. You will need to purchase another item… like the “free zarbee’s that generates a different RR. You can “roll” these back and forth to keep your out of pocket low.

I just got back from Wags. The RR for the Schick refill worked for me. I also got the Colgate Optic White $6 RR, the Zarbees $5.99 RR, and the Balance Bar $1.60. The only slight glitch was with the Mentos gum. The mgr told me that officially the ad does not start till 2am, but they had the new one entered in already. They did not however have the October Coupon book offers in the system yet. He was very nice though and reworked it until the four gum packs came out “free” (and he did it twice for each of my two transactions). My store was well stocked with everything except the balance bars, there were only a handful of them on the shelves.Using my RR from last week I only paid OOP a dollar or so and got back $18.60 in RR for each transaction! Gotta love Walgreens, they keep us coming back!

Hi fellow couponers. Mostly everything went well for me except my $5 RR for Therflu DID NOT print. The manager even came over & tried to do it seperately & it still DID NOT print. So she gave me a form to fill out & mail in with my receipt. I’m so bummed because it says allow 6-8 weeks for delivery. What to do???? Anyone to call? Thanks.

I had this problem last night with the Zarbee’s. It printed the RR earlier in the day, but not last night. I just had the Manager cancel my transaction, and went to another Walgreens, and the RR printed fine! If you live in an area like I do, (Has a Walgreens on every corner like corner stores), try going to a different store. Hope this helps.
The same thing happened to me with the therflu but i did one on sunday and it worked but i went again yesterday and it wouldn’t print
The Balance bars are ringing up at $1.50 and the RR comes back as a $1.60 so we are making $.65 on each!!!
On the Walgreen’s pads… there is not only the $2.00 RR; but there are also two different catalina’s printing…
One for .50/1 that you can turn right around and use on the next package you buy… therefore making them a $.50 money maker.
The second catalina is a $1.00/1, but the package count is higher than the sale this week…
The worry about the Shick coupon being coded the same as the RR seems to not be a problem. Worked fine for me this morning…
About the Colgate Optic White deal – do not buy 1 toothbrush and 1 toothpaste – it won’t give you the $6RR, but only $2RR. It happened to me today, and the manager spent lots of time trying to redo the whole thing. She was surprised too, as usually those deals allow to mix toothpaste and toothbrush together. We were able to redo the transaction, although in the process I lost both coupons. Fortunately, there was and EXTREME COUPONER at the store who gave me 2 of her (MANY) coupons. So it worked after all, but with all the fixing, redoing etc – took way too much time.
One toothpaste and one toothbrush worked for me! Anyone know why the coupon in the wags October book is beeping?

I had a problem with the Up 2 U Gum Qs from the Oct Book. Anyone have a suggestion on what the employees are supposed to do when the coupon won’t scan? Or maybe I had them scanned in the wrong order? I am new to couponing at walgreens. Even the manager couldn’t get it to work and I ended up leaving without my gum.

The manager at my Walgreens told me that RR count as coupons when you checkout, so be careful. Last week during the P&G special, I had 5 coupons and 5 RR, and instead of getting $10.00 in RR for purchasing $30 of P&G, I got $3. Mgr said it was due to the 9 coupon limit.
