I didn’t do a scenario where you reach the $25 threshold for the Jingle Cash since there have been some changes to when it will actually print. Once we know for sure what’s going on we’ll revisit that. Remember Red coupons are store coupons and don’t count in your coupon total. Enjoy!

I was at Walgreens tonight and went over the $25 price point (to get the $5 jingle cash when you spend over $25). After using my register rewards (jingle cash), my total bill dropped down to just under $3 (YAY!) … and the $5 jingle cash still kicked out for going over the $25 threshold!!
I wonder if it doesn’t kick out if you use “normal” manufacturer coupons to get your total below $25 … but using the register rewards to get it under $25 might not affect it?
Either way … I did this twice today (2 separate trips to walgreens) and both times I got the $5 kick back after my subtotal (before register rewards) was over $25.

I had $9.50 in RR that expired 12/11 so I was in there right before it closed. My total before coupons was $27 something but after my RR and (4) $1 manufacture coupons my total was less than $25, the Jingle Cash did not print out. Hopefully it will be different this week….
On Saturday, December 12th at 8:30 A.M. I was in my Walgreens in West Central Florida and had a subtotal before tax of $50.26, used Manuf Q’s and Wags in ad Q’s; no RR and my total before tax was $24.20. Did not receive any RR’s for going over $25 or even over $50. Manager came out and said the total before tax had to be $25 or above.
All my transactions this past week had a subtotal of at least $25, used various coupons, brought total way below the $25 and I still got the $5.00 RR. Wonder what Walgreens has done.
I just came from walgreens and bought a good $36 worth of stuff pre-coupon then I used coupons (olay bwash+lotion, M&M $2off 3 bags, john frieda, goody,clairol etc etc) including the register rewards I earned on an earlier purchase of activ-on and last week’s RR.
HOWEVER, I did not use any super jingle cash coupon.
My total out of pocket was 1.06 and I got jingle cash for the M&Ms, goody, olay PLUS a SUPER JINGLE CASH coupon worth $5.
Heads up:
Clairol natural instincts is on sale for 5.99 and a catalina for $3 manufacturer coupon for natural intstincts prints out for every purchase.
When I bought the olay bwash, the free lotion was actually priced 50% off pre-coupon. Manager said there is probably an unadvertised BOG50% off deal for olay.

Just at walgreens and had 23 after coupons. I got my jingle cash. What I did not get was the 3 hallmark christmas money holders for $2. The manager did not know why the amount did not get deducted. They scanned the in ad Q and it beeped and said I did not have items for that coupon despite the fact that I had 3 christmas money holders. One was 1.99, one was 1.49 and the other was .99. Must be only for 3 cheaper ones.
Also, neither of the 2 stores I went to had the Olay hand and body lotion to go with the olay deal.
In your above scenario of Trans #2 you are missing the in ad q for the glade room spray.
also in trans #3 you no longer need the second $2RR with the BOG50% off.
which glade is on sale BOGO? i had the cashier scan a few and none had the BGLP after it.
Shawn’l – Thanks for the Glade. For Transaction #3 even if it’s BGLP it won’t matter because the lotion would be $2.50 and they’ll just take off $2.50. The item is free regardless of if they are taking off $4.99 or $2.50. It has no impact on your total after coupons. You’ll still need the $2 RR. Hope that helps! 🙂

My misguided manager at Wags told me that you wouldn’t get a RR if you used a MQ on the item. Has anyone found this true of an item yet? I know they’ve been threatening that forever but LOL, I’d be sad if they actually made it come true!! The jingle cash is too much trouble, I’m not even trying for it this week!!
your total after wags q and before sales tax has to be over 25. A subtotal of 50.26 isn’t high enough .
Where in the ad is the coupon B1G1F? I looked high and low, and the cashier scanned with me and then both looked in the monthly book?

Thanks for posting this! i did the scenario and got all sorts of fun things for our house! Barrett’s were a good stocking stuffer, same with the Olay body wash (pair it with a shower poof!).
