Walgreens Updates from the Field

Here are some updates from my Walgreens shopping trip to help your trip go a bit smoother.

STARBUCKS DEAL: The Starbucks Refreshers and Single Iced Coffee Money Makers are working perfectly. The coupons go thru smoothly and are not interfering with the $1 Register Reward printing. Sometimes when the coupon and the RR are the same value they are coded the same and therefore the coupon prevents the RR from printing, but not in this case so enjoy this yummy money maker.

BEAUTY & PERSONAL CARE POINTS: the Walgreens Beauty and Personal Care Points offer is back at Walgreens thru 8/30/14! You’ll get 50 points for every $1 spent on Beauty and personal care products including Oral Care. This is on top of any any other points or Regsiter Rewards that are available in the ad.

And if you didn’t get the coupon in your ad, or just don’t want to have to remember to scan it, you can go HERE to add this to your card, no coupons needed.

REVLON DEAL: You may want to check for clearance Revlon. Erica found clearance Revlon nail polish for $1.49 and $1.24. She used the $1/1 Revlon Nail Product, exp. 7/19/14 (SS 06/15/14 R) to get them for 49¢ and 24¢ and they produced the $3 Register Reward! SWEET. (Thanks Erica!)

SCOPE DEAL: If you missed my update earlier today, and haven’t yet printed your Scope coupons, do it now. These coupons are scheduled to disappear sometime before end of day tomorrow. I don’t know if we’ll see them in July. My store was running low on Scope, so I printed them and am planning to stock up later in the week after their shipment.

Here are some updates from my shopping trip to help your trip go a bit easier.

WINDEX, PLEDGE, SCRUBBING BUBBLES DEAL: So for some reason the Windex, Pledge and Scrubbing Bubbles deals isn’t coded properly to print the $2 Register Reward. There are even signs posted that they should print the $2 RR and it’s in the ad but it’s not printing. However, what is printing is a $1 Register Reward that’s actually part of a National Catalina deal thru 6/15 on select Windex, Pledge and Scrubbing Bubbles. (Buy 2 get $1 RR, Buy 3 get $2 RR, Buy 4 get $3 RR). If you need the Windex it’s still a good deal running you 75¢ each.

If they fix it before Thursday, we are looking at better than free Windex after the Checkout51 offer and the two Register Rewards. I’ll let you know when and if it gets fixed. I didn’t include the Windex in my Walgreens Shopping Scenario so you can still do those deals with no impact. Just keep in mind only $1 RR is printing when you buy (2) of any of the products included!

SCOPE DEAL: The Outlast and the Dual Blast are both included in this deal, however the Classic Scope is not. You can mix and match these two depending on what coupons you have and what’s available in the store.

TIDE SIMPLY: If you didn’t print your coupon for the Tide Simply deal, it’s remarkably still available. This is a sweet deal on Tide so be sure to add this one to your list.

If your store is out, request a raincheck. Since this isn’t a points deal or a Register Reward deal, you can always pick it up later with these coupons at the lower price. I love Walgreens rain checks!

Here are some updates from my trip to Walgreens that will hopefully make your trip easier!

MUCINEX DEAL: Here’s some good news for you on the Mucinex deal. This one is still giving $3 (3,000 Walgreens Balance Rewards Points) upon purchase. That makes this one a nice little Money Maker. You’ll have a 50¢ Money Maker with just the coupon and points and a $3 Money Maker if you also submit for the Mail In Rebate.

SHOTZ REGISTER REWARD: The Register Reward for Shotz is not printing for any of the flavors. Looks like for some reason they weren’t programmed to work properly. My guess is that this will be fixed at some point this week but for right now, hold off on purchasing these.

If you did purchase one I’d return it to the store or bring it back along with a copy of the ad. I’ve updated my Walgreens Shopping Scenarios to reflect this.

HAPPY CASH: Good news on the Happy Cash Offer! We can use Balance Rewards points to pay and we’ll still get our Happy Cash. You can also use Register Rewards to pay or manufacture’s coupons to lower your costs. It’s only discounts like a discount for 15% off AARP or Walgreens coupons that will impact your totals.
