Question – has anybody found that Mars coupon in the December All You? I searched through mine twice and can’t find it anywhere. Any suggestions for what page it’s on/is close to?

it is part of the postcard tear-outs between pages 32 and 33. HTH

on the second page of the table of contents there is a list where it says what coupons are in the magazine and what page and the amounts in alphabetical order. the coupon is on page 33

There should be an index with a list of all of the coupons for the month and their page numbers towards either the front or back of the magazine.

I tried to use that coupon this week and it wouldn’t work for me.

Sam James,
I used the Mars coupon with no problem and so did a friend of mine. Remember to scan the coupon before you scan the coupon in the ad.

Can someone please help me! I am new at couponing at Walgreens and am about to pull my hair out. I purchased 2 items at the pharmacy at Walgreens. I was very sick and one of the items was Aleve-D Sinus and Cold which you have to get from the pharmacist. I had a coupon for this and a coupon for the cough drops. I also had a $1 RR. I gave the 2 mq’s to the pharmacy tech and the rr. He scanned the 2 mq’s first then the rr. The register kept beeping so he called the manager to come to the back to the pharmacy. Manager was not happy! Manager said I could NOT use 2 mq’s and rr because I only bought 2 items. So like a fool, I said “well, just throw in the cheapest thing you have in this store because I don’t feel very well and need to get home.” Big mistake! The manager threw in a $.39 piece of caramel! In East Tennessee, our sales tax is 9.75%, so that stupid piece of candy and the sales tax just about ate up 1/2 of my $1 rr!!! I was sooo upset when I left there. Anyway, what I want to know is, could I not use 2 mq’s and a rr for 2 items?

Hi Tammy, you can not use more than 1 coupon per item and a RR is a coupon. I suggest reading the Frequently Asked Questions about shopping at Walgreens to help you.

You actually got a better deal that some! In Iowa, coupons cannot be used for controlled substances (anything with pseudoephedrine). Also, in my store the cheapest item is the 39 cent carmel. (My store runs a smaller ad than the national ad and we don’t have the gift sacks, pencils, laffy taffy that others use as fillers).

Thank you so much Christie. I just assumed the rr was like the CVS and RiteAid money! The town I live in only has a post office! So you see, I have to plan these trips in advance and have to carefully watch all coupon deals with the price of gas! So I will definitely study up on Walgreens since they just built one in the next town over just across the street from RiteAid. I also have to travel 2 towns over to get to a CVS which is where my prescriptions are at. Oh well, the benefits of country living.

You’ll get the hang of it in no time Tammy! 🙂

The Halls are actually cheaper than that because they are also B1G1 50% off. I didn’t know that until tonight when I was buying mine. They had 2 different stickers on the shelf and the manager told me that the B1G1 50% off is a monthly special that was running and the .99 special was the weekly special. Great deal w/the $1.00 off 2 Q!
