Can you use a super jingle cash reward on items that are going to give a rr and still get that rr for that item? Just want to make sure before I use them tomorrow! Merry Christmas and thanks for everything that you do!=)

Hungry Hippos is a hassle! The coupon wouldn’t go through…asst mgr called over…she couldn’t get it to work…store mgr called over…he couldn’t get it to work, then debated with me that the coupon wasn’t valid for this game…went to make a phone call & is waiting for a call back (I have no idea from whom)…ended up leaving after an hour with no game. It really is not worth the hassle.

wow to stacey they couldn’t figure out to charge you one cent more! How rediculous my cashier will just write the right value on the coupon.Sorry target has them for 5 all the time. Wanted to say I love how christy finds a great scenario for us each week. This ad was a little rough but she stills pulls off a great deal with a lovely attitude some of the other sites just complain if there isn’t a ton of rr’s etc. Question when I used the bandb book they say it is a man coupon so they won’t take the man one too?

Forgot to mention that the Hungry Hippos rang up $6.99 instead of $4.99 (yes, it was the exact one from the ad) but the $5 coupon still wouldn’t go through. From what the asst mgr was saying, this store mgr has been flagging coupon issues & posting them on a bulletin board, & yelling at the employees so I guess they are afraid to take any coupon that doesn’t scan without a beep. The other Wags in this area aren’t any more coupon friendly so I guess it is coming down from the district mgr.

There is a deal this week for Wonka bars 2/$4. If you buy 4 bars, can you use (2) BOGO coupons, (2) $2/2 coupons, and (1) $1/2 WAGS coupon? One Man. coupon per item, right?

I just got back from Walgreens. I wish I read the comments before going out there for the Hungry Hippos game deal.

I totally agree with Stacey, what a fiasco. I went to 2 stores. The first store had only one game, I went to the register to pay and the coupon beeped prompting item not found. The cashier reads the coupon and pushes it thru at $5.00. The game was scanned at $6.99, cashier did a price adjustment of $4.99. At the second store, they had more than one game so I bought two. At the register, they scanned at $6.99 and called to the cashier’s attention. She said something to the effect that it was for the full size game but realized what she said and made the adjustment. Then I handed her the coupons, the coupons beeped and said “Item not found”. She read the coupon and scanned them again same thing. She turns to me and says It is probably that the item is less than the coupon. No problem just adjust the coupon. “No, we can’t do that. Its a manufacturer coupon.” I knew right then and there, I was in trouble. It was going to be a struggle. She calls the manager on duty. They go back and forth with the coupon trying to override and the register would not budge. The cashier was the regular for cosmetics so she should know how to work the coupons. They gave me so many excuses why the coupons did not go thru etc. For the not so coupon friendly stores, they train all their employees on how not accept a coupon and give reasons why. But the mananger worked with me. He finally was able to do the deal and adjust the coupon to $4.99. No problem. I just paid tax 70 cents. YEAH. As I was leaving the store, a customer was doing the same deal and was having problems with coupons. The difference with the other customer is that NOW the manager knows how to do the transaction with no problems. It was not worth the headache. The games will be donated to Toys for Tots. Buy at your own risk.

you’re lucky to even have found the game. I went to 4 Walgreen’s today, and none of them had it at all.

I sent my hubby down first thing this a.m. trying to get this game. My Target and Wal Mart has been sold out for weeks now since the coupon first came out. They only had 1 and it rang up at $6.99. Hubby told cashier it was $4.99 in ad and she adjusted with no problems. The coupon beeped, she read it and pushed it through for $4.99. Guess he had a great cashier, which seems to be rare lately at Wags.

Had some issues with the Oreo deal. Apparently, the deal is only for the fudge cremes, which aren’t the correct weight for the B2G1 coupons. I hate to get the cashier in trouble, as she over rode the price and gave me the 2/$5 price for the regular oreos, yet she actually rang up one pack of Oreos for $5, while the rest are $2.50. Though she wouldn’t use the IVC, saying it beeped and it wasn’t what’s in the picture. Yet in the ad, Triscuits are in the picture!

I had issues with the Oreo deal tonight as well. I bought just the regular oreos thinking they were part of the ad and used the B2G1 coupon. The $1/2 Wags coupon kept beeping but the manager went ahead and took it off. The cashier also took off the $3.99 for the free package. My total was higher than I expected and we went back through what coupons she had scanned so I just paid my $6.00 and moved on to the next transaction. I realized when I got home (the closest Wags is 30 mins away) that the reason my total seemed so high was because the Oreos rang up at $3.99 each instead of 2/$5! So they let me use the coupon that goes along with the ad price but didn’t give me the initial ad price before the coupon. This is the second week in a row that this type of thing has happened with their ads/coupons. My husband convinces me that it’s not worth the gas and time to go back and have it fixed. And it sounds like I bought the wrong thing anyway! What’s a girl to do?

In the vitamins & supplements booklet they have a $3 off Nature Made CoQ-10 wag q & the Jan All You has a $5 mfq the weekly sales ad has B1G1 free the All You shows a twin pack in the picture but it says on any Nature Made CoQ10 can this be used with B1G1 free singles ?

Christie December 22, 2010 at 1:37 am

Virginia – I think you are good to use the All You coupon it since it says Any. And as long as the Wags Q matches up size wise with the one on sale that should be good too!
