How will the coffee mate deal work if you have 2 of the $1.50 coupons sice the total amount of the coupons will be more than the total cost of the coffee mate
Laura – They’ll have to adjust the coupon down, which is their policy to do. However, I always rather take the easy way out so I intend to buy (4) coffee mate for a total of $5.28. Use 3 – $1.50 and 1 – $.75 off. So my total will be $.13 for 4 of them. No, it’s not FREE but I’m happy to pay $.03 for each one to avoid the headache at the register. But that’s just me! 🙂
There are no more prints available for the $4/2 Nivea campaign. 🙁
For the Nivea deal just buy 6 for $15 and use 5 $3 Q’s. That will give you an extra item to use a RR and you still get all for free.
I agree with you there Christie for me a couple cents and not free is always the way to go when its at a drugstore:) I am anti-scene stealer
So they will let you take off (5) $3 off coupons when each item will actually ring up as 2.50 on the receipt? I would be afraid that their machine will want to reduce the 5Qs to 2.50 each since that’s the price. Please advise! Thanks!
At my WAGS as long as your items total more than the total of the MF Q’s it will go through.
@Kara No. They are supposed to manually key in 2.50.
Do booklet coupons work like other wags coupons in that (up to any stated limit) you can use one coupon for as many items that qualify in your order? As in, if I wanted to get four bags of Ricola, would I need only one of the appropriate booklet coupons to get 50 cents off each of the four bags? I understand manufacturer coupons, just still getting used to using wags coupons. 🙂
Marie – That’s right. You just need them to scan it once and it’ll take off for each package.
Everything went as planned for the walgreens trip with one exception, the register only took one of the $1.50 coupons for coffee mate, I purchased (2). It rang up $2.49 for the first one then $.20 for the second. I don’t understand what happened?
did anyone else have problems this week with the Ricola? My first trip I bought 4 used 2 MQs ($1 off 2) and the WQ, and had no problem (can’t remember the order the Qs were scanned in) Another day, I went to another Walgreen’s bought 8 and they first scanned the WQ which took $4 off, then when he tried to scan the first MQ it beeped. He called the manager who told him not to take them. He asked her to come to the register to explain to me why not. She kept trying to tell me that it would go into the tax amount (which it didn’t!) Then she tried telling me that actually the WQs are now considered MQ (and it does now say that on those coupons.) She said that this was recently changed. Anyway,after I showed her that the coupons were not going into the tax amount, I asked her to change the order in which she scanned the coupons, with the MQs first then the WQ (which she didn’t want to do, because she said they are suppose to scan WQ first) and everything worked fine, without any beeps.
