Here’s my UPDATED Walgreens shopping scenario for 12/26. In this scenario, you’ll get $25.41 worth of merchandise. After sale prices, manufacturer’s coupons, you’ll pay $15.66 out of pocket. You’ll keep $4.23 cash rewards, a $2 RR and a $4 RR (PLUS maybe $4 cash rewards because the $4/2 Bic coupon did not work). So it’s like you’re getting everything for $5.43 or 78¢ per item. OR $1.43 for everything if you get cash rewards for the Bic coupon not working OR 20¢ per item.
If you’d rather skip the Bic deal, then you’ll get $15.98 worth of merchandise. After sale prices, manufacturer’s coupons, you’ll pay $6.23 out of pocket. You’ll keep $4.14 cash rewards, a $2 RR. So it’s like you’re getting everything for 9¢ or 2¢ per item.
UPDATE: So a lot of new coupons made much better deals than what I had in my original Scenario for this week, so I’ve updated it. The Bic coupon does not work on the razors that show up as included in the RR deal. My store had no tags but also no cheap razors in stock.. You can call Customer Service and you may get cash rewards for this, but this may vary for you. The ad is clearly stating an RR and a coupon, so I think it’s only fair, but if you’d rather not bother, just start with Transaction #2. Also I originally indicated using the Bic RR on Transaction #2 but since 2 different coupons popped up for the body washes, if you use the RR, both $2 coupons may not come off since you need 2 of one item and 1 of the other. If the RR attaches to the 1 product the second $2 coupon may not come off. And since there are 75¢ coupons for Irish Spring/Softsoap, you can use that on the third product in lieu of the RR. Also if you have a booster coupon, it will be best to grab everything together, depending on your threshold.
