Are the carefree acti-fresh products on sale at all?
Also one could use the Free Carefree coupon to get a dollar off of the pantiliners.

Reply

Kara June 26, 2011 at 12:25 pm

It should be included, it shows a photo of the Carefree acti-fresh in the ad.

The dove men’s 6 pk bars are eligible for the 3/$18. I only got the $6 RR not an additional $5 that someone previously commented.

I went out at 9:30 this morning and got 3 Dove Men+Care 6-packs and only got a $6 RR, not an additional $5. Where did you hear that it was producing both?

I bought the sippy cups for cars but the wags coupon won’t work oh well had rr that were expiring so I just used them to get them for a .99 each

Reply

Amanda June 27, 2011 at 4:20 pm

the coupons says “infant” products….. so the sippy cups wouldn’t work.

I got the Tylenol Pain Relief cream but no $2 RR printed

Reply

Tammy June 26, 2011 at 11:47 am

The Tylenol Pain Relief does not have a RR. The RR above (in Transaction #1) is from the Reach.

If i’m looking at this right, on all your scenarios except #2 you have more coupons listed than items bought. Will they let you do that?

Reply

Deborah June 26, 2011 at 12:32 pm

The coupon in red is an in-ad coupon, that means a store coupon so will not count towards the total amount of coupons vs your items purchased.

This morning in my first transaction I bought Pringles, Twizzlers, the Reach toothbrush, and the 3 dove 6pk soaps all with the appropriate cpns of course. I ended up with a $6 RR, $5RR, 2 $2RR’s, and $1RR. Can anyone tell me where the $5RR came from? It was a happy surprise!

I did not get the Carefree coupon (I live at Wilmington,NC) but I have $1/1 Stayfree Print.
If I buy Stayfree, Can I stack with $3/2 Carefree Pantiliners 16-60pk (5532) July Monthly Book? (do they same company?)

Reply

Greta June 26, 2011 at 11:03 pm

Christie,

I shop Wags regularly, but planning my trips this week really confused my brain. You have the Tylenol coupon from the July booklet listed as a store coupon that won’t count toward your coupon total. Yet it clearly says on the coupon “manufacturer’s coupon”. Do the manufacturer coupons from the monthly book not count towards your coupon count? Have I been doing this wrong the whole time and sticking myself with unnecessary fillers? I checked the coupon policy, and the way it reads to me is that they should, but it would be awesome if they didn’t. Thanks for any clarification you can give me.

Also, if anyone is counting on overage with the crayola posterboard, don’t! They are ringing up the sale price of 3/$1 automatically, without the in-ad coupon being scanned.

Love your site, you do an amazing job and I really appreciate it!

Reply

Christie June 26, 2011 at 11:37 pm

Greta – that is correct the coupons in the monthly book are really store coupons and don’t take up a slot. You can see some examples of Walgreens even advertising stacking with monthly book coupons HERE. I just did it today with the Carefree.

That being said I like to have an emergency filler with me just in case. Which I can always leave if not needed. 🙂

Reply

Greta June 27, 2011 at 5:02 pm

I have never had any issues with stacking *knock on wood*. I will try not counting them next time, thanks!

I have one more question (thanks for being so patient with me!). Do manufacturer’s coupons that are $x/y items count as one coupon or y # of coupons?

It is hard to test these things for myself at my one local store. The scanner at the front register has a difficlt time with coupons in general, and I don’t like to irritate my cashiers if I can help it. I have received inconsistent conflicting information and you seem to be the expert!

Thanks so much!

Reply

Christie June 27, 2011 at 5:05 pm

Hi Greta – That’s a great question. It actually depends how the coupon is coded. Some are coded to attach to 2 products in a $1/2. You’ll avoid all issues if you just plan on it attaching to however many the coupon is on. Or in those cases you can always bring a filler with you just in case. 🙂

I’m just starting out and I need help..some of the coupons I have been able to locate. If I don’t have the issue/flyer that the coupon came out in, is there somewhere for me to get it online? For example, the reach toothbrush coupon is from 5/8/11 ss x 8/8..thanks in advance for any feedback

Hey.. I’m not the expert here so someone correct me if needed but I believe it just depends on how you sort your coupons. I currently do both ways (only because I’m way behind) I like to clip them all (or most) and sort them by type (i.e. pets, cleaning, paper goods, pharmacy/otc/hba, etc..) so that while I’m in the store I can just flip to that section and see what I’ve got.. I use baseball card holders for this. I also have quite a stack of unclipped ads I also carry in my binder just in case.. Since they are unclipped and unsorted, it does take me quite a while if I really think I’ve seen a coupon for something I’ll stand there and flip through.. BUT on the spine of each week’s ad they print the date.. it’s really tiny! In your example, the 5/8 is the week of the ad and the SS is the Smart Savers and the x8/8 is the expiration of the coupon. Some people stack like pages and sort them in sheet protectors rather than cutting as they come in.. and will either cut before the trip and/or at the store. If you do this, be sure to write the ad date on each sheet so you will know where to look for the coupons. I have been couponing on a small scale for a while but only really getting into it since about April.. so I can look at the dates and pretty much know that I don’t have a coupon because the date is before I started keeping them all… AND it helps to find one quick in the ads I have yet to clip!

That was the way long drawn out version.. I hope it helps! 🙂

I just re-read your comment.. I think I misunderstood.. I do not know if there is a certain place to get it online.. you might try searching “blah blah coupon” and see what you get.. Also, look on eBay.. I have bought many item specific coupons there if there was a great deal on something I use a lot and need a lot of coupons to stock up… do the same search.. “item specific coupon”… good luck!

Christie,

In Trans#3 I don’t have another Reach toothbrush to use. can you think of something I could use to get a $2 RR? I’ve been trying to figure it out but I thought you could figure it much faster.

Thank you for your time!

Christi
