If you have already submitted once for the finesse rebate, can you do it again.. or is it one per household? I didn’t even look when I mailed in the other one. 🙂

Pat Davis June 12, 2011 at 4:54 pm

Kelly, Yes, there’s a limit of one per household. I checked my rebate (I still have it). It says, “Limit one rebate per address. The use of multiple names/addresses to obtain additional refunds may constitute fraud and violate USC sections 1341 and 1342” . . . etc.

Just out of curiosity …why aren’t you using the .50/2 nestle candy (includes crunch bar) coupons? Like trans #2….you could buy 2 crunch bars and use thhe coupon and hhave the right number of items and coupons and pay less oop than only buying 1?

Reply

Morgan June 11, 2011 at 10:31 pm

In that transaction the Nestle Crunch Bar is a filler so that she can use a 3rd coupon!

Reply

Christie June 11, 2011 at 11:12 pm

If I remember correctly the B2G1 attaches to all 3 so you can’t use another coupon with it without a beep. And the 4th one like Morgan said is my filler for the RR. 🙂

anna June 11, 2011 at 11:29 pm

Is this always the case with the B2G1 deals ? since it wasn’t the case with the B1G1 gillette body wash deal. Then the 2 items were not attached with 1 Q. I used the B1G1 Q on one body wash and the $2 off on the second.

Christie June 11, 2011 at 11:44 pm

It really depends on the coupon. Not to be too technical but the manufacturer has some choices as to the codes they put on the coupon. Sometimes they don’t want you using other coupons with the B1G1 and it’s reflected in the coupon code.

Thanks Christie 🙂

I was told that if the coupon has a 14 in the bar code you can not use a bogo coupon with another coupon but if it doesn’t have a 14 in the coupon you can still use another coupon towards the product that you are buying. So far in my experience this has been the case. Hope this helps.

It looks like she is using it for a filler.

There is also a $2 rebate for the Finesse product

just caught your comment on the rebate

For the finesse, how does it work if you have “try me free” peelies MIR and you used RR during that transaction. As in, what value would you write on the MIR for how much you paid less discounts…?

Thanks in advance for replying!

Work for Walgreens and Walfex is another supplier issue, unfortunately! Our store only received a dozen! Seems like a similar situation to the Crackerfuls unfortunately!

I’m new to couponing at wags and I have a question. I have a coupon for a BOGO Right Guard Deaodarant and WAGS has them on sale this week for buy1get1. If I use the coupon then will they both be free (I have done this at Kroger before) or is that not allowed?

lisa June 12, 2011 at 9:51 am

Yes. 🙂

Shelly June 12, 2011 at 9:50 am

So my store didn’t have the blistex or wal-flex! They didn’t even get it. The manager told me that they dont write rain checks for RR deals. She said it was a wags policy. Is that correct?

Reply

Alisa June 12, 2011 at 10:17 am

I Walgreens didn’t have Blistex or Wal-Flex neither. I didn’t even think about getting a raincheck. I’ll do it 2morrow. I’m sleepy now from shopping. ZZZzzzzzz.

Nancy June 12, 2011 at 11:52 am

Yes I think it’s true I have a cousin that works at walgreens and she said that they don’t give rainchecks on rr deals.

Reply

Jemtabulous June 12, 2011 at 3:30 pm

Unless Walgreens has changed their policy since last week (or my local manager was being VERY lenient), I have been told I can receive a raincheck on RR items but that the RR will not print if it’s past the product’s sale week.

If you’re lucky enough to want an item that is a month-long RR deal, then it could be worth finding out if what the manager says is truly their policy.

I have asked at my store, and they do not give rain checks for the RR price. If they are out of stock and the deal includes a rain check, you are out of luck 🙁
Different managers may do it differently, of course!

Reply

Tia June 13, 2011 at 10:14 am

I have not asked for a raincheck on anything, but the manager and assistant manager always write one up for me anytime I am trying to find a product and it’s out of stock. I have gotten one for the Icy Hot Natural as well as the Omega Fish Oil. I guess it really does differ from store to store. They are pretty great at my store though patient/pleasant/helpfull staff! When I first decided to start doing the couponing at Wags, I was nervous due to some of the horror stories, but so glad I pressed on 🙂

You can get a Raincheck for the sale price only… they can not do a raincheck for the register rewards as it is a coupon that prints after the sale.

I got the Allergy brochure and it doesn’t have a Wal-fex coupon. Only had Wal-itin and Wal-zyr. Where did you find the Wal-fex coupon???

Reply

ashley June 12, 2011 at 4:07 pm

i found the same coupon as you for the wal-zyr and wal-tin…..maybe it is a regional thing 🙁

Reply

Shelly June 17, 2011 at 3:44 pm

I found the coupon at my wags. It was not in the booklet. It was a single page the same size as the booklets. It was in a little display by the pharmacy. My wags had like 5 different allergy displays around the store. This was the only one with the right coupon.

I bought 8 of the Ragu Pasta Sauce for $16 and my RR didn’t print. The cashiers didn’t know why it didn’t. One said it may have been because I used coupons. I emailed Catalina and will follow up with a phone call tomorrow. Seems like a lot of work for $5!!!

And I didn’t clear the shelf. There was a cart by the shelf full of Skippy Peanut Butter and Ragu Pasta Sauce.

What is the email address for catalina? I found a phone number but cannot call until after work.

Jackie June 12, 2011 at 12:46 pm

My Wags did not have the Blistex, but the Assistant Manager checked and put in an order for it to come in on Wednesday. The Wal-fex was not out on the sales floor, but I asked the pharmacist, and he had it in back, so if you don’t see it, ask them! 🙂

FYI, the Airwick Freshmatic transaction did not print out the RR for me. Purchased that and 4 Nestle Crunch bars, used the $4 printable Q for the Airwick, the $5 RR from Finesse, and the B2G1 Q. According to the Asst Manager, it was because the coupons I used were too high in value (over the sale price of the Airwick). I will email Catalina, and see what they say!

nicole June 12, 2011 at 2:52 pm

You said that your getting one of the gillette razors this week and still getting the $5RR, wasn’t that just for last week? if not, how long will that RR run for?

Reply

Christie June 12, 2011 at 3:00 pm

That’s thru 6/25. If you ever want to see the monthly RR deals – take a look along my top tool bar and click on “Register Rewards”. 🙂

Reply

Aimee June 12, 2011 at 3:07 pm

My Allergy Pamplet also only had the coupon good to use on Wal-itin and Wal-zyr.

Reply

Greg June 12, 2011 at 7:05 pm

I bought the Freshmatic, and no RR printed out either.
I took it over to a manager, and she refunded the $3 (plus tax) to me in cash on the spot.

Guest June 12, 2011 at 10:37 pm

The blistex is located in the deodorant aisle next to the shaving creams and mens grooming kits and what not. Also, the manager who said he’ll order it and get it for you Wednesday is lying. You can’t order something on a Sunday and get it that same Wednesday.

Reply

Jess June 12, 2011 at 10:48 pm

The airwick RR isn’t printing. My Wags always does a dry run of the product (as in no coupons or discounts) to see if an RR does print and it didn’t. So they refunded me $3 right away too.

Jennifer June 13, 2011 at 12:12 am

Good to know about the airwick rr….I was planning on buying one tomorrow.

Just wondering, what is the best strategy for making my shopping scenerios for my Walgreens shopping trip? Can you give me any tips on how to get the most with the least out of pocket?

Suzanne June 13, 2011 at 11:17 am

I have to tell everyone how INCREDIBLE the WAGS in Little Rock, Arkansas are! I’ve been telling my friends and family how helpful and patient and encouraging ALL of the LR area WAGS employees have been and then, today, I was driving by the Wellington store and saw “EXTREME COUPONERS WELCOME” on the marquee!!! I actually started crying! I will sorely miss them when we move to the country. May have to make a weekly trek to LR…

S.L.E. June 14, 2011 at 2:11 pm

I was wondering…. You have the Finesse 2/$7 with $5 RR listed in your scenario. Wasn’t that last week? There were no signs indicating that the sale was still on at my Walgreens and the cosmetics cashier was unaware whether it was still on or not. Do you know? Has anyone still been able to get this deal?

Reply

Christie June 14, 2011 at 3:53 pm

Yes – it’s a month long deal (thru 6/25)

Marley June 16, 2011 at 11:48 am

Okay new to WAGS and couponing… but my coupon for the $1 off a 360 colgate toothbrush from the ALL YOU is expired… it expired on the 30th of May… I wont be able to use that right? confused.

Marley June 16, 2011 at 11:52 am

Sorry I guess All You has new coupons every month..was not aware 🙂

Reply

Shelly June 17, 2011 at 3:49 pm

I found the wal-flex at my wags today! They had tons. Of course it wasn’t labeled, but if your store didn’t have it I would check again.
