If it happens to be after WAGS coupons, are the in store coupons (IVC) going to count as a wags or manf?

Guest – I planned the scenarios as if they were counted as Wags coupons to be on the safe side. We’ll just have to wait till tomorrow! 🙂

Kristy – Welcome! I have a glossary HERE. You can always access it from my toolbar. That should help all this gibberish make sense!

Hi! I ran into someone in the Walgreens isle who I was talking deals with. She told me about your blog and I have been on here three times over the past couple weeks. I’m struggling to understand all the initials and color codes and all of that. Would it be possible to post a “key” or something? Thanks! This looks like some good stuff if I can get on track.

Kristy – from DM? Just curious as I talked to someone at my WAGS about this great site.

For Transaction #2, there are $1/2 Ragu Pasta Sauce MQs from the Safeway Thanksgiving Coupon booklet. Bringing the total to $14.19.

Isn’t the 2.00 coupon for Revlon only good on artificial nails? I don’t have one in front of me.

Is anyone else having trouble printing the Optimum Care $2 off coupon. It keeps spitting out a blank page for me.

Reply

Karen December 5, 2010 at 6:48 am

I can’t get that coupon to print either.

Try printing the Optimum care q from IE, it worked fine there for me HTH

Was given the $5.00 Jingle Cash after using numerous other Jingle Cash.My total bill prior to using manu& jingle cash was around $33.00 and ended up paying $3.90 out of pocket. About half of that was tax.

Good morning everyone!
First time I leave a comment, although I follow the blog for quite some time (love it btw)
I have a question, and maybe someone can help me out…
I want to buy the latex gloves that are in the ad, with the 3/$10 walg Q from the ad… but I only want 1 box of gloves. if I get just one box and hand over the coupon, will the register adjust the price to 3.33, even though I’m not taking 3 boxes?
Thanks in advance!

Could not find the top speed Revlon nail polish at 3 different walgreens in Clarksville, TN. Bummer!

Adrienne – Thanks for the tip, no safeway here but that would be awesome for those of you who have it!

Margaret – Thanks for the tip on using IE for the Optimum.

Leslie – The in ad q will usually be ok just for one item.

Leslie W, yes, you can buy 1 box and the register will deduct accordingly. It will show reg price, then after you hand over the coupon, the deduction. Not sure what the reg price is, but lets say they are $3.75, the coupon line will have a -.41 deduction.

Kristi, my Walgreens had the nail polish up by the cosmetics counter. They had a display of them with all sorts of colors. HTH.

Had some issues with the hallmark deal, apparently at my store the .99 cards do not qualify, although I saw in the store ad it said buy 2 for a $2 RR, there were actually signs up that said buy 3 for $2 RR and they rang up that way so I scrapped that deal. Fyi there was a coupon in the paper here today for a free bag hersheys wyb 2 so I was able to get 3 for $3.

I’m confused in trans #1 how will you get a P&G RR if you are paying with a P&G RR? I thought that was not going to produce a RR. That is why I am having trouble with my OOP and using the RR effectively. Thanks

Kristi December 5, 2010 at 5:23 pm

Thanks Maria. I’ll try again tomorrow at another one. Atleast the cashiers were really friendly and tried to help me find the polish.

Christie December 5, 2010 at 5:30 pm

tpv – If you use a $5 P&G to buy something else that prints a $5 P&G you’ll have a problem. However if you use a $5 P&G to buy something that prints a RR of an amount other than $5 you’ll be fine.

On the first transaction deal, can I use a $2 Quaker and $2.50 Thermacare Jingle Cash instead of the $5 M&M RR? I don’t 100% understand the RR’s. Thanks 🙂

Reply

Christie December 6, 2010 at 12:02 am

TNK – Count how many items you have, you can’t have more coupons + RR than you have items. So in transaction #1 I’m using 3 RR because I have 3 items that I’m not using coupons on. So, if you want to use different RR, that’s fine. However if you are using (4) RR instead of (3), just buy another $.13 gift sack and you’ll be fine. 🙂

other than the crest rr is there a reason in transaction 2 it doesn’t state to use the rr rewards you recieved from transaction 1 can i use them?

Does anyone know if buying gift cards will get you the jingle cash as well?? Not Walgreen gift cards, but the restaurant gift cards that they sell in the store.

Connie December 6, 2010 at 8:34 pm

Thanks for the scenario! I did it today but my store does not have the Revlon 🙁 Had to improvise quickly and ended up getting the Dark n Lovely hair stuff. Not quite as much in RR’s back, but, the best I could come up with. It was slim pikin’s on good RR deals this week…Oh, I also added 6 of the Snickers nutcrackers for free 🙂
