Scenario WITH Register Rewards 5/2

by Christie Bisbee on May 1, 2010

Here is a scenario for those of you WITH Register Rewards to start with. You would start with $4 in Register Rewards. You would spend $1.32 out of pocket for $46.91 in merchandise and end up with $2 in Register Rewards. To err on the side of no beeps I went with (5) $1/1 for Revlon.

Coupons in Blue count towards your MQ total, coupons in Red do not.

I like to keep these scenarios under a $1 out of pocket but $1.32 is still pretty good.
Hey, it’s less than a cup of coffee. 😉

Christie,
What a great website! So glad I found you.

A question – the ad says you need to buy $15 in Nivea products to get the $5 RR. Is that $15 calculated before or after coupns?
Thanks for the info.

It’s usually calculated before coupons, that’s the great part!

may be a dumb question, but what is Vocal Point?

Not a dumb question at all! Vocal Point is a community for Mom’s. They send a lot of Freebies and coupons for new products. You can check them out HERE.

I have the BOGO coupon for Nivea chapstick and $1 for the chapstick. What order should I put the coupons in before handing them over to the cashier?

Reply

Christie May 2, 2010 at 4:22 pm

I did BOGO, then $ off this morning with no problems.

I don’t see the Nivea $5 RR in the flyer… is it a monthly deal?

Nope it’s in this weeks ad. Unless you get the short ad in your area and then I’m not sure if it’ll be there. It’s towards the bottom of the page, I think it pg 13.

sorry..never mind, I found it. My Wags, usually will NOT print a RR if you don’t SPEND $15.. so they count it AFTER coupons.. but I will try this and see if it works or not.

I was curious what you are using for the fillers? I have a couple RR that i need to use this week but I need to some cheap fillers to make item to q ratio.

I had $.20 Jello in my area this week and $.13 clearance knee highs. $.39 scotch tape and mailers with the ad in q this week is also a pretty good filler. I also threw in a $.49 Dove Dark chocolate bar but that’s what happens when you shop without having lunch!
