GREAT Scenarios. Thank you. But what about those of us that are just starting with the coupons and do NOT have the B1G1 on the reach toothbrushes OR the $1/1 dental floss coupon?? quick question on scenario # 1. Doesn’t WAGS have some kind of coupon policy that you have to have EQUAL # of coupons to match the amount of the items?? So in # 1 there are 6 items, but 7 coupons? I know the one WAGS I went into, she specifically said I had to have 7 items if I was going to use 7 coupons. Thanks. Sorry so many questions, but I know this week is going to be a good week for WAGS so I want to make sure I have everything down. Thanks again for doing all the leg work for us newbies!! 🙂
Hi Kristin, The Wags Qs don’t count in your coupon total. So you actually have 5 coupons in that first scenario since the RR counts as a coupon.

Hi I have been stearing clear of walgreens. I’ve been couponing for about 9 months now. And just last week decided to try out walgreens. I got 2 U kotex tampons and got my 5 RR. So i want to use them this week and cont getting RR. I love the senerios you have put together. i don’t save all my coupons, because some things i think i wouldnt use. Now i’m kicking myself, because they would have been free anyways! Question i have?? Do the cashiers think you are crazy when you go in and want to do 4 different transactions? Do you do it all at once or go back on different days through out the week or walgreens hop?? Thanks in advance!!!

Just wanted to say something about doing diff transactions. When i first started, i would go in to like 3 different stores because i felt the cashiers would get mad about me doing more then one transaction.. but after i got to know how some of the cashiers “act” toward coupons, when i had friendly ones , i’d mention i was going to do a few separate transactions, and they’d say “okay”. I would usually say something like “i’m sure you see this a lot with people using coupons!” The friendly ones would smile, and be happy to do sep. transactions. But there are a few that aren’t so nice. So stay clear from them. Find the right ones! Sometimes if a line forms behind me, i’ll just finish up, and go to the back of the line to let a few more people go first so no one gets mad. I won’t ever go to more then one store anymore, now that i know cashiers really don’t mind. 🙂 Hope that helps
If you have a store that accepts a MF Q and a IVC Q on the same item, is the IVC Q count like an in-ad and not count towards your total Qs for the transaction? It’s late, I’m getting confused!
It’s hard to thinks about scenarios when it’s late! 🙂 The IVC won’t count towards the total.
