At my store the pencils are $5.99 so the second one rings up at $2.99. I am only able to use the $2 coupon on the second item since Walgreens policy prohibits the use of a coupon above the price of the item. However, if at your store your base price is $6 or more, you can use a second $3 coupon instead of the $2 coupon.
