This week you’ll earn $30 Cash Rewards for spending $100 with in-ad coupon or this coupon is available to clip to your card. Here is a scenario for you to grab online. I’ve done this with some of the newer Clip2card coupons available, and a few that have been available for a while like the Crest/oral-b. You won’t see them if you’ve used them. Also, it’s possible not all of you will have these. For instance I had a $2 off an Act product and $3/1 Poise ONE which may differ in value. Some of these could be only you coupons. If you are not in need of some of these items, look around for other coupons that you may have for stuff you need that will lower your OOP OR don’t forget you can always grab an item to donate.
If you deviate from these remember :
· You must reach $100 AFTER all Walgreens coupons are deducted. Manufacturer coupons will not count against the $100 threshold.
· FREE shipping does have a limit so if you add heavier items you may get a message that reads you’ll be charged extra shipping.
· Don’t pay with cash rewards since this will count like a Walgreens coupon. For example in this transaction below if you pay with $50 in cash rewards, then you’ll only earn $10 WYB $40 (instead of the $30) with that Clip2card coupon.
· Do look at your clip to card coupons, for example if you still have the $4 Icy Hot, it’s a great thing to add.

I grabbed a HUGE order online this week to earn my $30. I was really disappointed not to find all the Bounty/Charmin paper products in store that I wanted, so I decided I might as well grab some of these online instead. Here is my order, but keep in mind that I had a bunch of thank you coupons and older coupons that I had not used.
My goal for this order was to have an even lower OOP, so I decided I wanted to reach $120, so I could pay with $20 in cash rewards. Since Cash rewards are like a Walgreens coupon. I’ve placed several orders online and they still seem to be working the same way as they used to with balance rewards points. Whatever cash rewards you used to pay will be applied towards the NON-Beauty purchase first [EVEN THOUGH THERE IS NO MORE BEAUTY POINTS], then the remaining cash rewards (if the non-beauty purchase is less than the value of the cash rewards redemption), will be deducted from the Beauty. It doesn’t matter which items you Add first (Beauty or non-Beauty). So if I’m redeeming $20 in cash rewards, I want to make sure I have $20 worth of Household/Grocery/Health (after any coupons) in order for it not to interfere with any beauty threshold points I want to earn. However the one deal I had in this scenario was not beauty it was personal care the $5 cash rewards for Colgate Keep (so I did get them) but I don’t have enough instances to say that cash redemption won’t be applied to personal care first. It may have just been luck, but I was prepared to not get the $5 cash rewards. It would still have been a great idea.
I had a 20% off Personal Care and beauty leaflet from a Beauty Box I received last month. It’s a code printed on each leaflet so if you have it, be sure to use it. It only works on certain regular price items*. Again, the only thing I was concerned about here was the one threshold deal — the Colgate Keep. I had to reach $10 (after the percentage off) in order to earn the $5 cash rewards. This is how you calculate percentage discounts and thresholds. For example if you have $13.99 worth of regular price Colgate and $5 in manufacturer coupons, do this: $13.99 -$5 = $8.99, then $8.99 * 20% is $1.80. So go back to the beginning $13.99-$1.80= $12.19 iS OVER $10, so the threshold has been met. Manufacturer’s coupon do not count against the threshold.
The cash rewards comes at the end once the taxes have been applied but I put it here AFTER the list of Walgreens coupons and before the Subtotal just so you understand that the redemption is treated like a Walgreens coupon. This will reduce the threshold.

Remember when using Walgreens coupons and paying with Cash rewards, this will make the projected cash rewards in your cart be INCORRECT. These things will affect the final points earned AFTER the walgreens coupons and cash rewards are taken into account, but the projected rewards will never show this.
