Tips on Finding Hard To Find Items At Walgrees Online!

by Christie- on September 10, 2020

Here are some tips on finding those hard to find items at Walgreens.com.  We are all after the disinfecting wipes and disinfecting sprays. These area all available online for a VERY BRIEF time. We are talking a couple of minutes where you can add them to your cart and quickly checkout. Keep in mind that adding something to your cart will not prevent someone else from buying them. I really can’t post when I see them because I don’t have enough time to write out all the particulars, so if you’re really after these, just be diligent and check as frequently as you can. You have to be there at the right time in order to grab these, but it IS possible.

First I suggest you make up your mind that if you find two Lysols for $8.99 you are willing to pay $5.99 shipping. Let’s agree that $23.97 is not a great bargain, but seeing as how these are hard to come by, are you willing? Perhaps you have $20 in points you’ll want to spend and go ahead and get these.

If not, check the deals each week for things you may want to add to your cart like paper towels, toilet paper, or perhaps this week it’s your favorite coffee on sale, and add a few things. Be sure to be signed in. I suggest you add at least $30 to your cart. As stuff sells out during the week, items will be removed from your cart, but if you find the Lysol in a jiffy you can take out stuff or increase the items of coffee or whatever else you have in your cart to be at $35 to get free shipping. You won’t know if you’ll find the $8.99 Lysol or the $3.99 wipes, so it’s easier to have extra stuff in your cart. Then you’ll walk away with still expensive $8.99 Lysol or $3.99 wipes but at least you’ll have Lysol and whatever other nicer deals like coffee and paper products.

There disinfectant sprays is limit 2 as of right now. Keep in mind that limits can change. When the pandemic began and they started to have toilet paper and paper towels, the limit was two then they upped it to four, but now it is down to two again. The limit for wipes is also 2, unless they are Nice! Wipes; those are limit six!! Items like hydrogen peroxide are limit 1.

In order to find out if the items are in stock quickly, don’t run a fresh search. That takes too long. Sometimes other stuff comes up and it just slows you down. So the best way is to make a shopping list. That way you can add your favorite scents. Say you absolutely hate the Waterfall Lysol scent and you don’t care if this one is available, well then don’t add it. That way you don’t accidentally order the wrong product because it’s available and then you realize the blue shade of the can was off and you got an unbearable scent. You’ll check out specifically what you would like. You check your Shopping List by just clicking HERE, but you must be logged in order to see it. So if you are not logged in, it will pop up the window to log in, then it will redirect to a different page, so you’ll have to click HERE again.

I suggest making a shortcut on your desktop to quickly call up the page. You’ll still have to be logged in first in order to see your shortcut. To make this shortcut I suggest you change the list items to show up to 90, depending on how many items you have in your list. If you only have 5, it doesn’t matter, but if you have more than 25, then they will roll over to another page, and that adds precious seconds to your search. Also change your availability to ONLINE only. Once you have the settings on the sorting fixed, copy what appears on the URL above and make that your shortcut, and your settings will be correct when you click on your shortcut to call up the search.

On occasion you will see the ADD TO CART button available and try to add something, and you’ll get a message saying it’s no longer available. This is because the items sell out very quickly.

Also periodically, check your shopping list by searching again the long way, in case a new scent or another product of wipes is available on the site that you can add to this list.

I’ve found these coveted items Tuesdays and Thursdays lately. Sometimes at 3 pm or 7 am or thereabout and occasionally at 1 am, so really if you have time to kill, just click your search.

I have had two orders cancelled (maybe out of 15) since the pandemic began where I’ve ordered high-demand items, and then it turns out they counted wrong and they don’t actually have them, so there is a potential for disappointment, but I’ve had very great results in the last couple of months. Nonetheless, it’s always possible that this may happen to you, so also be prepared for this possibility. IF you have other tips for finding items at Walgreens, do share with us below.

Good luck!
