Hi Christie,
Thanks for all of your hard work. Is there some reason why I wouldn’t get the 10,000 Pantene points? I did the deal you described last week, used all of the coupons, but didn’t get the points. Could it possibly be because I used 10,000 points to pay? But I’ve used points to pay before and received points back. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Val! You can use points on deals that earn points by buying a quantity of product. For a dollar threshold, the points the points you pay with are a deduction to the threshold. So if you bought $32 worth of Pantene and then used $10 in points, it’s as if you bought $22 worth of Pantene, and that was not enough to earn the 10,000. You could have done it if you bought $40 worth of Pantene. Check out this post Christie published a while back https://wildforwags.com//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////walgreens-deals/2018/08/15/how-to-use-your-points-to-earn-more-points/

Thank you so much for this info! I was actually wondering the same thing as Val… I bought $36 worth of Pampers, using the qualifying coupons. I was expecting 10,000 points back, but I used 18000 points for a deduction of $20. I called in to claim these points, and they did not say anything about not meeting the threshold. They just gave me the 10,000 points. I understand now, how I did not meet the threshold by using points, dropping my threshold value to $18.
Thank you,
Kristin

Can you get the 7000 reward more than once or is it one per card?

I’ve only grabbed one deal this time, but last month’s beauty deal worked multiple times. I grabbed three deals then. I think it’s good odds that it will work again. You should try!
