Savings Tip: Although you may prefer a different laundry detergent for your clothes, bedding, etc. – there may be items where you can use a different detergent. I’ll often use less expensive detergent to wash dish cloths and towels I use for stuff like washing the car.

There was a time when I would not buy this detergent, no matter how cheap it was, because it has a really strong perfume smell. I eventually figured out to mix just a little bit of Xtra detergent with my unscented detergent to tamp down the smell, so it helps me stretch my unscented detergent.
