Hi all…I’ve been posting that there seems to be a lot of confusion among the management at Walgreens stores about points being earned for Reward Points program when you use manufacturing coupons. I just called the Toll Free Rewards line and they also spoke while I was on the phone with their Consumer affairs and they reaffirmed that you only have to hit the value to earn the points prior to using coupons. (so all good…keep using those coupons and fight for your rights). The manager at the store I was at was adamant that I didn’t deserve my 5000 Schick points because I used the $10.00 Hydro coupon, which brought my $21.00 purchase down below the $20.00 value needed. He was 100% sure (ha ha) that this is the Corporate Policy. I can’t find it anywhere in their written information, so right from the source from a very knowledge Walgreens professional on the phone that there is no change. Coupons don’t affect the Rewards Points. I don’t know why the register though didn’t get it right as I didn’t get my Schick points so there must be also a programming problem on this whole issue. I asked that they request that Consumer affairs group to clarify this in their written policy so we can all include this in the written print outs we bring to the store to prove our rights. (Also sounds like they need a written policy for stores that don’t know how to adjust down coupons when the price is less than the coupon as some have had issues with this, and I mentioned this.). So they are giving me my 5000 points manually…So all good in the world of Walgreens complicated couponing…

By the way, keep this number handy and if they give you problems, just call the toll-free number while you are in the store…1-855-225-0400.

A weird question here, if I was to purchase different items that have register rewards, does the RR print out separately or only one RR will print out? For example: I buy one Colgate optic white toothpaste and two Crest Prohealth mouthwash. They both have RR, does it print out separate RR for each? I know that if I was to buy multiple colgate toothpaste it’ll only print out one RR.
