Woo Hoo! Mucinex is a better deal than we thought! For some reason when you add a $7.50 Mucinex to your transaction, it adds $15 towards the Happy Cash total (though it only rings up at $7.50). The threshold for Happy Cash is $30 for $5 and $50 for $10.

You need to hit $30 to get $5 in Happy Cash. I only hit $15 which should give me $0 happy cash. It’s doubling the Mucinex.

Well you have $5.50 more than you did before you started.
If you don’t plan to use your Happy Cash then you can just consider it a 50¢ money maker and give the Happy Cash to someone else who will use it. Or leave it by the trash or register, I’m sure someone will snatch it up. 🙂
I did this deal yesterday and it worked! I originally tried to buy 4 Mucinex amd use 4 coupons to get $10 in happy cash, but the cashier said that she could only sell 2 to me. Apparently they’ve had issues with couponers reselling them.

just found out yesterday that the happy cash works after all coupons. Meaning you have to have 30 dollars left after manual and store coupons. apparently they just changed that last weeks. (at least Colorado)

Also, what was already a smoking hot deal on the mars Easter candy, just became a 3 alarm fire. When Walgreen’s introduced the ability to load manufactures coupons onto your wags card I decided to do so. Well, at the beginning of the month I added a bunch and never thought twice about them. Today I purchased 9 of the mars Easter singles (5 snickers & 3 milky way) and thought $1.50 (after points) would be a good deal. Well the cashier said your total is .75 cents. i said are you sure, she said yeah, it say’s something about e-coupon. Well, when I checked my receipt 3 e-coupons came off, they were: $2 of 3 snickers, twix, milky ways, .75 cents off 2 snickers squared and $1 off 2 Easter m&m’s, snickers, twix, milky way. All of these coupons are manufactures and are suppose to be on the full size items except the squared one, not the singles. So I paid 75 cents for 9 candies and received 3000 points. Did it again on second card but didn’t buy the right combo, I got six milky way and 3 snickers, it only took off the $2 and the 75 cents q’s. So $1.75 for nine candies and 3000 points back. On your mark, get set, go! Here are the coupons which now show as redeemed in my account”

Found out that if you have any of the Mars digital coupons loaded on your card like the $2 off 3 it will work with the eggs.

I just came back from Walgreen and the transaction is still working.
I bought 3 mucinex and 2 Tide on sale, used 3 mucinex coupons and one Tide (3 off 2). I got 10 in happy cash back.
I did the same transaction a little after midnight, and the catalina printed nothing. Why is this? Can someone explain this to me.
This is because, every night, at 24-hour Walgreens, the registers ramp down and sort-of “re-boot”, at midnight or a bit after midnight. The register rewards quit printing until about 12:30 or so. It’s especially frustrating for night owls who want to take advantage of supplies for good deals by shopping near midnight on Saturday-into-Sunday-morning. Some managers will offer a gift card or price adjustment, but usually I am told that I’ll have to either wait for a while and redo the transaction, or come back during the day.
