Suave Body Wash Points Deal & *Reset* Suave Coupons!

by Christie- on March 11, 2014

Suave 5w

Update: The Suave body wash deal that I posted last week is working like this: the body washes are ringing up B1G1 50% and you will get $2 (2,000 Balance Reward Points) when you buy two BUT some stores have a regular price lower than $2. If your store’s regular price is $1.99, than buying 4 will not meet the threshold for earning the points.

There were a couple of different Suave coupons of different value in the inserts this week. The printable coupon has just reset, 75¢ off (2) Suave® Body Washes (Exc Kids Body Wash and trial/travel sizes). Unilever coupons carry a limit two identical coupons restriction; however, if you try different coupons (like the $1/2 and 75¢/2), more than 2 of any kind will not scan on the same transaction. If you received the 50¢/1 coupon, you are better off using two of the printable coupons. And if you received the $1/2 insert, you can use those.

If your store has them priced for $2…

Hi Jennifer, unfortunately not every coupon is in every insert. I only get Unilever (Suave, TRESemme, Dove) half the time in my inserts. So it’s really nice when Christie shows the printable version (although they are not always the same value), so you can still make a deal. For instance, if your store has them for $2 then you buy 4 and when you use 2 printable coupons, you’ll get them for 63¢ each. If your store has them for $1.99, then you’d buy 6 and pay 91¢ with two printable coupons.

I bought 4, my store has them at 1.99 and second one 99c, I did not get any points back. Very disappointed ‘cos I can’t believe I did not get points because of 2 cents difference!

I always calculate things before going to the register. I did th $25 bonus BR deal last night, and when the cashier gave my total, I asked what the subtotal was b/c it seemed a little lower than I thought. Come to find out 2 of the items rang up less than the shelf price, so I had to scramble to get a few fillers to get back to the $25, otherwise I would have been screwed out of the 5000 BR!
That’s why I love CVS, you can be short and the ECB will print. Wish Rite Aid & Walgreens would follow suit with needing 98% to get the reward!
