Woo Hoo! This week you can grab some free Rimmel London 60 seconds nail polish. Select Rimmel products are 50% off all month, but this week, it looks like all Rimmel is included. I found the nail polishes regularly priced at $1.69 ringing up at 84¢! The value of the insert coupon is greater than the price of the product, so the cashier will have to adjust the value of the coupon, or the value of the item. My store prefers to change the price of item up so coupon scans.
Walgreens Deals (thru 3/15)
Buy (1) Rimmel London 60 Seconds Nail Polish, 84¢ Sale Price
(1) $1/1 Rimmel London Product, exp. 4/30/14 (RP 02/09/14)

If you have a difficult store, like I know some of you do, you can buy 4 nail polishes and use three coupons.

Help me please! Tried to do the nail polish thing and I first got “can’t take coupon because price is lower than $1”. Went back and got another one. Then I got “Computer wont take the coupon because even though you have 2 the price for each one is under $1.” I had the same problem with the Bic sale this week. They are on sale B1G1 half off at $3.99. I bought four and used 4 $3 off coupons and they said that because number 2 and 4 are $1.99 the computer won’t take it. Ugh! Walgreens is giving me the blues.
I suggest brining a copy of the coupon policy with you – or call corporate about your store and let them know what’s going on. It’s not about getting anyone in trouble – it’s about making sure your store staff is educated on what the coupon policy is. 🙂
Yeah I just had the same issue with the Almay….thinking it’s time to cash in my points and just dedicate to Rite Aid.
I tried to do this yesterday…she wouldn’t adjust the coupon…when I questioned why she wouldn’t follow the coupon policy…she said because people with coupons are out of control and it’s becoming a serious problem so the store is strict when it comes to coupons…and the other store that’s coupon friendly was wiped out of everything….so frustrating
