Better than Free Nivea Lip Care!

by Christie- on February 10, 2014

Nivea lip-4WGreat News! The Nivea lip products are included in the balance reward points deal: buy 2 and get $2 (2,000 Balance Reward Points). Some of these items are B1G1 50% off, plus we had a very nice $3/2 coupon for these in the Redplum this weekend. I found the prices starting at $2.99.

However, be careful to watch the register. Not all lip products are ringing up B1G1 50% off, the Nivea a Kiss of Berry Swirl (UPC 072140012991) does not work, but the Nivea Natural Lip Glossy does ring up correctly. Both of these products produce the $2 (2,000 Balance Reward Points) and the Winter Beauty Event Points. I also bought the Nivea Lip Kiss of Shimmer which does ring up B1G1 50%, and produce the $2 (2,000 Balance Reward Points), but not the Winter Beauty Event Points. I found the ones that don’t produce the Beauty Points in the lip care section of the Cold & Flu aisle.

Walgreens Deals (thru 2/15)
Buy (2) Nivea A Kiss of Shine, $2.99 B1G1 50% off

Total = $1.48, Get Back $2 (2,000 Balance Reward Points)
Plus get extra 200 Points for the Winter Beauty Event (Scan coupon pg 18 of ad)

There is a typo. I think it should be
Buy (2) Nivea A Kiss of Shine, $2.99 B1G1 50% off
Total = $4.47 or $4.48

It’s because she already took off the $3 coupon value off, so you pay only $1.48 and get 2000 pts back.

In the original posting, she has 2 for $4.98.

Does anyone know if there is a limit of the RR you can receive in one transaction? I have 10 q’s and haven’t really couponed at wags since the stopped the paper RRs

If you have 10 colgate coupon for example then you cannot buy all in one transaction but you have coupons for different products then you can buy together.
I did one transaction for colgate, mitchum, scope mouthwash, nivea all together and I got rr for each one.

RRs are still paper Coupons that spit out. BR points are points that accumilate on your card. you can pay for RRs with Points and points with RRS but you can not get the same RR for more than one item in the same transaction,. you b=can get multiple points from same items in one transaction

Gracias for letting us know Christie, the cheapest at my store was $3.59 but still a good deal. I also bought 2 colgate toothpaste but only the $4 RR printed, but that was ok too since I used them as fillers (did not have coupons) to reach the $25. A+ for you for all the work you do for us !

Just thought I’d share the deal I just did for anyone else who’s interested:
(4) Nivea lip balm @ $2.99 B1G1 50% = $8.96
(2) Nivea body lotion 6.8oz @ $4.99 B1G1 50% = $7.48
(2) Nivea Men body wash @ $4.99 B1G1 50% = $7.48
(2) Wet N Wild eye shadow @ $.99 = $1.98
Total: $25.90
-$3/2 Nivea lip, used 2
-$2/1 Nivea lotion, used 2
-$3/2 Nivea body wash
-$1/1 Wet N Wild, used 2
Final: $11.90, got back 5000pts bonus (over $25), 8000pts Nivea, 1250pts Winter beauty.
Basically a $2.35 moneymaker! I was also able to use some RRs from last week to bring down my OOP to under $10 which just made it a better deal.

I found some at my store on clearance for 1.49 so I bought 2 to use my coupon and the cashier wouldn’t adjust the price of them up to the $3 because he said i wasn’t allowed to get them for free! But I’ve done it before at the same walgreens different cashier. Asked for the manager and the manager told me the same thing! I was kind of dumb founded!
