Be Prepared for the Common Cold with these Walgreens Deals

by Christie- on January 21, 2014

Robitussin panorama5wI like having a couple of the common cold symptom relievers on hand. There’s nothing worse than having to traipse out in the cold, rain, or snow when you’re feeling ill and paying top dollar because you can’t wait for a sale. I sadly have a nasty cold right now and I was VERY happy to have a stash of Robitussin at home. 🙂

Was just at Wags tonite. They had a nice selection of clearance toiletries. Got Loreal Advance care style product for less than the $2.00 coupon that is available (so they had to adjust down the coupon). Also, Lyzol wipes (just one type) were 1.99 each, so I used the $2.00 off 2 Lysol product coupons that were in a Walgreens booklet months ago, to get those for $1.00 each. Also, use $1.00 of Two General Mills Cereals that were $1.99 each. (Reeses Puffs and Cocoa Puffs). Picked up all the four freebies this week, and the foot creme looks really nice for everyone, including athletes, even though it is in the diabetes section. It is very expensive normally with lost of active ingrediates, so getting that for Free is amazing. The Hot Flash wipes are actually good when kids have a headache as they have a cooling sensation, if you don’t need them for hot flashes.

Sorry for typos in above comment….meant that there are “lots of ingredients in the foot creme”.

Walgreens is really sneaky. My cashier yesterday had a really bad cold. Then today they email me with a message about cold remedies. Do you think they were trying to infect me yesterday so I would buy cold remedies today? Hmmmm! 🙂
