Each month Walgreens will give AARP members who scan their AARP cards a bonus of 5,000 reward points when they spend $25 or more in one transaction. I use the Senior Discount Day as my day to spend my $25 dollars, while getting a discount, plus I earn my 5,000 bonus points. Happy shopping!
I try to do this as well. When there is an item that is free then it can be a mm or the 15% off can at least pay the sales tax which makes it completely free! Yay!
I was told by walgreens that a person needs to be both senior (55+) and AARP member to qualify for the discount. I thought that this is a senior discount.
