On the Lindt coupon it says 1 per purchase. this means 1 per candy bar or 1 per transaction? I always have people at walmart and walgreens giving me problems over this.

Thank you Christie, I thought so. I even have management always trying to tell me I can only use one. I wish they would all be trained properly.

I tried this deal this morning at the local WG’s. Register refused 2nd coupon with a message saying “limit exceeded” or something to that effect. So it obviously is one coupon per transaction, unless you want to argue with them over it. So that makes this a no-go deal, as the sale price (2/$4) means you have to purchase two but can only use one $2 coupon. Although, if you don’t want to argue, the sale price on one is $2.39, minus the $2 coupon, leaves .39 to pay. I argued and the cashier ended up giving me $2 cash back because she had taken the coupon but it did not give the $2 discount. Your mileage may vary! 🙂

I bought 6 in one transaction on Sunday and none of them beeped. I guess it depends on the store?

I tried to buy 4 using 4 coupons this morning and the cashier would only accept 1 coupon. He said the company’s website stated that only 1 coupon allowed per transaction and he was told by management to accept only 1 coupon. I wasn’t in the mood to argue so ended up just not getting any. Just curious if anyone else had this problem.
