I was in a bit of a rush, and the store was really busy, so I decided to just do one big transaction and get out quick. After all, I knew it would all be free, so I couldn’t really complain! 😉

I love these deals, because I get to try out new stuff. I can honestly say I wouldn’t in a million years pay actual money to try Plum eyeliner and Plum colored mascara, but since it’s free, hey I’ll give it a shot. Who knows? I might even like it.

I like the plum liner, I bought it a while back at CVS. I actually use it more than my brown liner. Will def have to ck out the plum mascara!

If you read the print on the 5 off 20 it does say “after coupons, walgreens coupons, etc.” So Christie I’m wondering how you were able to use the $5 coupon with all those Almay coupons cuz that would have brought your balance below $20 to use the $5 coupon? Or is this once again a grey policy that is interpreted differently at every store. I just was careful to have $20 of items after all my coupons and rewards slips, so I bought things like some medicines that rarely go on discount with the deal Also want to mention to everyone that there is a $2 off any Simple face products (love the wipes) in the Walgreens book, without any size on it. There is a smaller packet on end caps for $2.49. Of course, magically the Walgreens coupon doesn’t ring, and once again a manager intrepreted the coupon “that it only is for full-size and I’m like…why? It doesn’t say…prove it”. She nicely did a manual on it so I got those packets for $.49, but worth trying it and fight for your coupon rights!!! 🙂 Those Simple wipes are really good to use when traveling.
My $5 off of $20 coupon has this wording: “Purchase amount of $20 or more is calculated after and after all Walgreens coupons and discounts are applied.” A Walgreen coupon is not a manufacturer’s coupon. The wording says nothing about manufacturer’s coupons.
Christie: I love colored mascaras! I wear the Hard Candy brand (Walmart) all of the time in every color – blue, purple, teal, red. Of course, I’m 22, so this may effect my judgement… 😉
Christie- how did you like the plum colored products? I’ve been wanting to try them but haven’t been brave enough to even use my precious coupons on them! I assume they are subtle, not obnoxuous…?
I love them! They aren’t obnoxious at all! Especially the mascara – very subtle. The eyeliner is less subtle but very nice. 🙂
