Is there a way to find out if your store starts their Sunday sale on Saturday evening and what time does this occure? My 2 girsl go through this stuff like crazy – think they must be eating it! 🙂
Just give your store a call and ask a manager—they’ll know, but a cashier probably wouldn’t.
I work at a walgreens and there are times when the sunday sale is released on saturday. You could ask the manager. if it’s not a 24 hour store many times it is done in the late afternoon because workers have to take down the saturday tags and put up the sunday tags so the sunday sale needs to be release when those tags go up. saturday is the last day of the monthly mega saver coupons (the long booklet of coupons) too. So the April tags will be going up too. Balance rewards sale tags are usually released on Sunday not Saturday.
I think if you contact the store manager, they might know.
Check and my store does start deals saturday night. My girl there also checked for me and with the coupon there is a max value of 2.99 and they were 3.49 at my store. But still for .49 cents great deal! Gotta get my coupons together 🙂
Sales usually start saturday night, saturday evening (12pm) at the earliest for my store. I will advise though, that the points are not available and the register rewards are sometimes iffy on saturdays (at least in the early evening from my experience).

I work for Walgreens, and since Balance Rewards started, weekly ads are activated Saturday at 12:01 AM EVERY week. That means you can get Sunday’s deals anytime on Saturday.
Guest-my store starts at 12:01 pm. I have tried before that time and the sales do not work. Management has confirmed that is the time.
Can you get the RR on Saturday for Sunday too?
No. RRs are done through the Catalina company and these are typically loaded around 1-2am Sunday morning.

no i have done the deals a million times on Saturday and points work but register rewards don’t because wags has no control over when they activate.
No RR are not available until Sunday, same goes for points.
It worked at one of my stores! Speed Stick was tagged BOGO FREE and I had no issues at the register. I bought 4 men’s and 4 women’s for $1.60 total! 😀
I did this deal today — went by without a hitch except that the coupon value was up to 2.99 and the Speedsticks were 3.19 or 3.49. Still, even .25 a piece is a great deal!
