Hi Christie, I love your site and have saved a lot of money using it so I hope you don’t think I’m disrespectful when I’m sceptical about your scenario above. The ad says the Windex products are 2/$6 OR $3.49 each so wouldn’t your 3rd Windex product cost $3.49 vs. $3.00? Thus, making each item $1.49 each? Still a great deal but my math comes out different. Thanks for all you do!

Thanks for the question Deborah. Actually at Walgreens once you have purchased the minimum to hit the lower price (in this case 2) all other ones will ring up at the lower price. So if it’s 2/$6 and you buy (2) or more they will all be $3 each. It will only be $3.49 if you just buy (1).

For example: if it was (3) for $9 or $3.49 each – and you bought (2) they’d be $3.49 each. However if you bought (3) or (4) or more they’ll all be $3. I hope that helps! 🙂

Christie: I really think the policy has changed on this type of deal and you have to spend $15 AFTER coupons to get the points. The manager at our store clarified this as I mentioned in other comments…Could you verify this. Makes a big difference in these deals. And makes you have to buy a ton of product when using coupons to get the points too.

Wouldnt you only use one $2/2 Scrubbing Bubbles coupon in the first scenario since you are only buying 2 of those items?

At my local store they had the Scrubbing Bubble drop in toilet cleaners marked as part of this deal. They cost less than $2 and I was wondering if there are any coupons I could use for this? Thanks for any help!
