Did the Bayer deal give 2000 Pts per bottle. My ad is worded funny. It says 2000 Pts with one or more purchase from participating products.

Reply

Ashley March 18, 2013 at 5:02 pm

It does say “or more” but it gave 2000 per bottle for me!

The poise towlets/ washes r on sale w the coupon in the march book, if u combine it w the $3 coupon that was in the paper a while ago. It makes it a 1$ money maker! There is also a $2 coupon that came w a sample that I Rec. so if u only have that coupon. Still makes it free.

Does anyone know what the count is for the $2.99 or $3.19 bottle? There’s a $3/2 mq in the 1/27 SS for 120 count or larger that would make this deal even sweeter at $1.49
out of pocket and a $2.51 money maker! Caution though, that mq expires TODAY!

Pamela March 17, 2013 at 8:38 pm

Looks like the count is 32.

I bought 4 papers today and didn’t get any bayer coupons! ๐Ÿ™ maybe someone just stole them out of all the papers.

Reply

Lacey March 18, 2013 at 12:59 pm

I think it depends on what paper you get. in my area there are 2 different papers and the coupons are always different in them one always has better and more coupons than the other

Hi, if the Cottonell coupon specify that it can not be combined with any other offer. Can I use more than one in the same transaction?

We have 3 computers. Would I be able to use 6 $1/1 and 2 $.50/1(if I could get 2 prints from each computer)…or is there a limit on the # of like coupons you can use in a transaction?

Deborah March 18, 2013 at 2:33 pm

Hi Carol, according the Walgreens coupon policy: “When purchasing multiple items, Walgreens accepts multiple identicle coupons for multiple qualifying items as long as there is sufficient stock to satisfy other customers, unless a limit is specified. Management reserves the right to limit the quantity of items purchased.” Hope that helps!

Thank you Deborah. I looked all over and my store doesn’t even have cottenelle wipes right now. I know they did before but they were in with the toilet paper…not now though, oh well!

With the cottonelle I combined it with the windex touchups. They are $3 with $1.50/1 coupons on coupons.com. Its a fun new product to try, seems to work well.

I was hoping you all could clarify if Walgreens has a new points vs. coupon policy. Yesterday, I checked out with the six J&J Glade Candles that were 2 for $5, and spent $15, which should have earned me 3000 points. I did use three 1.50 coupons (off 2 each), and the manager said…”No, because I didn’t spend $15, it wouldn’t give me points”. Is this true…Is it now, you must spend the money “AFTER” coupons? And am I the only one who now has taken 30 minutes each visit to check out because they had to re-ring my orders due to the clerks not ringing thru the coupons correctly…the machine thought it was money at the end, and she couldn’t put thru the coupons she forgot, so they had to re-ring the whole thing…this is getting old…THEY NEED TO FIX THEIR REGISTERS TO ALLOW FLEXIBILITY>>>>YIKES>>> I also notice that if you forget to put in your card right away, and after they start ringing B1G1 free coupons, you actually get a higher value for the free one (because it registers the non-rewards price for the items). Watch this for the Get$10off35 offer. Use that coupon last, otherwise it will adjust down your B1G1 free price too.

Christie March 18, 2013 at 8:07 am

Hmmm, do you have a different Walgreens in your area you can shop in? The clerk is incorrect and sounds a bit confused!

jean March 18, 2013 at 10:49 pm

Christie…sorry to duplicate my comment on this points vs. coupons issue, but I wanted to reply to your reply so thanks.. It was the Manager (not that I believe them either with the turnover). She took the same products and re-rang them on a different register with no coupons and the $15 worth of Glade Candles did give the points. So she is convinced it is a new policy. I’ll call the Reward Program and see what they say, and get back to you. I truly don’t know why they avoid posting a really good policy sheet at the registers with different examples so it isn’t left up toe the inaccuracies of the check out clerks or mangers having a bad day. Just makes you feel terrible using coupons, that they want us to use.

Call Walgreens Balance Rewards & give them your rec # and explain that you didn’t get your points. If you are due points they will give them to you. Any time I’ve had to call they are always very nice.

I bought 10 Bayer in one transaction with 10 coupons and got the 20000 points. Dh has aspirin for a year now.

Reply

andrea March 18, 2013 at 2:31 am

Stacia- I am still confused with the balance points. You got 16,000 points for buying 8, did you do one transaction or can you but two, get points then use those points to but more and still get points? I shy asst from BR points because it still confused me, but I love Bayer and would love to stock up.

Reply

Regena March 18, 2013 at 8:46 am

The way I understand it, you can NOT use points to pay for a BR item and get more points. you can use RR to pay for BR and BR to pay for RR. HTH

melissa March 18, 2013 at 9:33 am

Its actually pretty easy yesterdag did 2 trans trans one all point items used rr on 2nd got rr items n Ink used points to pay,u will not get br if u pay wit br but u get br if u use rr n rr if u use br Ibougbt 6 alka seltzer allergy n one trans gained 12000 pts was a .50 mm wit points

How do rain checks work with points? If my store doesn’t have wipes can I get a rain check in case they don’t get enough in this week? And will I still get points later on?
