if you shop at Rite Aid it is a $5 Money maker, use the $10 coupon they sent out on their Diabetes newsletter and it is also priced at 9.99 in RA and you get a $5 Up

I’ve had 15 saved from the last sale. They only had five though. Easiest 10,000 points by far ๐Ÿ˜‰

You have 15, that seems a bit much for one person, unless you plan on donating to a charity etc. This kind of action gives couponers a bad name.

Let’s not even start this again.

I agree…. They could probably be donated or put on craigslist for free for someone who needs one and can’t afford it.

I think people who buy so many to ‘donate’ should wait wait until the end of the week after people who need it have bought. it is crazy! if you have 15, does that mean you had 15 coupon books?

That is what I was told to do by the manager from one of the stores that I go. He said, you can come on Saturday afternoon/night and buy as many RRs items that you want/need.
The meters at my store were $11.99 plus tax, I am in Southern California.

I really would like just one of these coupons. I have been to three different stores last time this sale was one, and this current sale. I am bummed! looks like I may be paying full price for one.

Ladies,
Don’t be afraid to ask an associate or the pharmacist for the books. That’s how I get mine all the time.

I saw these at walmart for $4.94 I believe that’s a huge mm!

The coupon is valid only at Walgreens, so you wouldn’t be able to use it at Walmart.

Seems to me that there would be sales tax involved. 7% here in Indiana would be $.69. Still a money maker but not completely free.

In Minnesota, there was no sales tax on this item, so it was completely free out of pocket! ๐Ÿ™‚

No sales tax on diabetic supplies in Wisconsin.

They did not have these books at my store so I spoke with my favorite manager and she called around to have some mailed to her store. She held one for me with my name on it ๐Ÿ™‚

i just left wags and was told that the Q cant be adjusted down

Reply

Christie February 18, 2013 at 4:04 pm

Sorry that happened ๐Ÿ™ but they are incorrect – maybe you’ll want to bring in a copy of the Walgreens coupon policy to the store with you next time you shop there.

keith February 18, 2013 at 4:14 pm

said something about on the back of the coupon it says that it cant be conbined with a BR sale

laura February 20, 2013 at 4:16 pm

Keith, read their coupon policy. They have to give u both.
For everyone else that says we need to donate them, unless you know for a FACT that they’re not being donated, you should keep your comments to yourself. I’ve been donating them to the school nurses in my child’s school district because the school or nurse has to pay for a meter. But In all reality, what I do with them is my business & ONLY my business and that goes for anyone getting the meters.

laura February 20, 2013 at 4:19 pm

Couponers get a bad name regardless and the meters deal is nowhere near being the only reason we get a bad rep. People are just plain jealous that we get items for free or almost free that they pay full price for. As long as that is happening, there will continue to be nay Sayers. Period.
