I saw the rr deal in my local walgreens ad, so I figure the rr deal is good till Saturday. Just remember to scan your card or get a card to get it at $9.99. Otherwise it will ring up $19.99. I live in Vegas and I have to pay tax. But I paid $.81 and got back a $5rr, still not a bad deal. 🙂

Where are the diabetes booklets located?

I found a bunch of the booklets right by the meters. If you can’t find them, ask the pharmacist.

@crystal which Vegas wags did u do this deal at? Did they give you a hard time about adjusting the coupon?

@Nels- NW part of town…Centinnial area. There are two Wags on N. Durango. Both stores, the cashiers had to call the manager over. They didn’t know how to adjust the coupon down. One cashier told me I had to buy another item. I told him no that its one coupon per item and that I didn’t need a filler. He just called the manager over and the manager just modified the price to $10. And I just paid the tax. At the other store, the cashier told me the coupon wouldn’t go through because it was already on sale. I told her its a manufacture coupon and that she could adjust the coupon down. She too called the manager and she adjusted the coupon to $9.99. Again i just paid tax. So yeah, there was some problems, but mainly just the cashiers not knowing how to adjust the coupon. Hope you are able to do the deal. 🙂

I did this deal 3 times last night and only paid tax each time—60 cents. The cashier had to change the price to $10 to get the coupon to work, though.

did u have to do 3 diff transactions and use 3 diff rewards card?

Reply

Crystal October 18, 2012 at 8:01 pm

You can do as many as you like on 1 card. But do 1 per transaction. If you do multiples, you will only get 1 rr. So far I have done it 3 times.

My wags had meters, but no books. 🙁
Is it a wags coupon? Does anyone know the code?

Reply

Christie October 19, 2012 at 12:39 pm

No, it’s manufacturer’s coupon. 🙁

I talked to my wags and they said they just did a reset on that section and when they do a reset they throw all the books away

They gave me a hard time, the cashier told me it is fraud to adjust the coupon down, and she didn’t want to loose her job. Does anybody know if Walgreens coupon policy address this issue? thank you

I went to five Walgreens today ad the last one I went to hid the meters in the pharmacy for their friends. I saw the pharmacist hand 2 girls 6 meters each! I followed them up to the register and I heard them say to the cashier “you know you’re the only one who did this for us”. I think it’s unfair that store employees do this!!! I was over there looking up and down the aisles for nothing!

The coupon says, ‘one coupon per customer for purchase of product…’ Does that mean that we are only supposed to do one of these transactions period?
