Here are some Walgreens updates from my trip today to help your trip go a little easier.
GILLETTE VENUS DEAL: Even though my store didn’t have tags up for the Gillette Venus & Olay razor, it was still included in the deal, which means you can grab these for only $0.99 each! If your store doesn’t have tags up for it either just have them do a price check. If it rings up $8.99 you should be good.

. These don’t expire till the end of August so we have lots of time to use them.
BUTTERBALL TURKEY BACON: I had to go to three stores before I could find this, but by golly I got my turkey bacon! So for whatever reason, this wasn’t available at all stores although there was a spot for it at every store. Maybe someone beat me to it. 😉
POST CEREAL DEAL: Every Post Cereal was included in the Register Reward deal at my store. So you can grab cereals as low as $1 after coupons and Register Rewards. Here are some of the coupons available for this deal…

The olay razor wasn’t tagged in my store either but I grabbed it anyways since that is what it shows in the ad. I did that deal and the free deodorant after rr without a hitch. Except I forgot a filler 😉
I was able to get everything on your shopping list. the olay razors were on the very top shelf by the bodywashes but rang up 8.99 also the suave everlasting sunshine bodywash said 50 percent more on the bottles so they were 18 oz for 2.00 same price as the 12 oz bottles and my store took the whole 2.00 off for the stayfree
I just recently learned that the registers are changed at 6pm on Saturday with the new sale week at CVS for those stores that are not 24 hrs.. Does anyone know if this is also the case at Walgreens?
yes! my Walgreens is not a 24hr so their computers start to generate the sale around 7ish the evening before

A few weeks back I went at 10 pm on a Sat to a wags that was open till midnight to get the sale priced items for the following week but they didn’t ring up on sale. It had the new registers, so not sure if that was the reason why the items didn’t ring up on sale. The cashier said the prices start on Sunday only.
Every store starts ringing up at different times. Depends on how large the ad is (how many items are on sale) and when the store has it set to start downloading.
Didn’t see any cocoa pebbles coupons avaiable and tried a few different zips. Is there a specific zip that they are under?
The Grape Nuts did not produce the RR at my store (?) but the manager used the Honey Bunches of Oats to fix it for me. Wanted to go do this one more time later this week, but hopefully they fix it because I don’t want to have to mess with the manager again!
Oh, that must have been what happened to my husband. He did two transactions for the cereal but only got one register reward. He bought one Grape Nuts. Fortunately the manager fixed it so he got the register reward.
I got 3 turkey bacons my store had plenty! Don’t forget you can also do a price match at WalMart for these!
My Walmart doesn’t carry the same size
I had the same problem with the Grape Nuts at my store. Manager was trying to argue with me it was because I was using coupons so RR would not print. Yeah, for deodorant and other stuff it worked without any problems.
the metamucil rr didn’t print for me. (bought 1 – tums @ $4 & 2 – $14 metamucils) the mgr gave me a bit of hassle saying it’s cuz i used coupons to buy it, but finally voided the transaction and deducted $10 off vs. having me submit for a replacement rr.
Update walgreens has niva lotion on clearance .3’49 and it’s part of the buy 10 get 5 RR ,so comes out to be 1.66 each good deal!
I did have a problem with the Rightguard deo RR not printing. The manager tried to tell me that since I used a MQ it would not print. The tried to do it without the coupon and guess what…I did not print!! He gave me the amount of my register reward in cash 😀
I tried the Rightguard with the $2.00 off 2. It would only print one Register Reward 🙁 The cashier tried to tell me that the second Rightguard rang up at .99 so it would not print another RR because I used a coupon that would make it .01 cents over what the actual cost of the item was. lol I asked her when that policy started and she said it has always been that way and RR wont print if I am not paying for the product. Oh when will they learn. After talking to the manager I was told that it was a limit of one per transaction for the RR. I guess I’ll save this coupon for rite-aid sale.
Only one RR will print per transaction for each item. If you get a 1.00 RR on something, even if you buy 10 of that same thing all at once you will only get one RR, not 10.
You can only do one deal per transaction or you will only get 1 rr
I found RG deo on clearance for $2.29, used $1/1 coupon and got $2RR! MM!!
I didn’t see any Nivea on clearance at my store but I did get 2 of the smaller bottles of Nivea Q10 for $6.99 and was able to use two $3 off coupons and still received the $5 RR. So got both for $2.98 + tax….sweet!
That Olay razor is still not basic in most Wag’s shave departments just yet. The shave and deo dept is getting a makeover pretty soon, and it will have a permanent spot shortly. Mine was in a display in the cosmetic tables in the front, and a tag was on there. It prints separately than the items in normal departments, so maybe the ones from all of your stores just haven’t gotten that far with putting up their tags, or had employees who didn’t know to look for displays to appropriately tag the products. All my deodorants and razors printed RRs just fine.
This morning I also received a $4 off catalina for Venus Olay Razors or Refills with my purchase of the Venus Olay Razor.
Not a big shopping trip at WAGS for me, but I was still pleased. For the first time this month, I was able to find the .99 Ivory bar soap on the shelf. Also picked up a Right Guard deo, .09 Milky Ways(after qs), and the .29 erasers as filler. Had 2.00 RR from last week, 1.00 Right Guard q and 1.00 ivory Q, so very little oop. My cashier gave me no trouble when I asked to have the Ivory Q adjusted(whew!). Would have liked to get the free Stayfree, but my insert did not have that coupon today.
Can I get a raincheck for the Ivory soap? I know the sale runs until 7/28 but it is never on stock.

You can get raincheck, but coupon is expiring at the end of the month too.

Got everything I wanted except any of the school supply deals. There was a last and her husband in that aisle literally raking everything on the shelf on sale into their cart. They weren’t leaving a single one. I really hope they were donating some of that stuff.
Gives a new meaning to the phrase “this little piggy went to market” LOL!! Donating or not that’s plain greedy 🙁
I agree with Jane – even if they are donating it doesn’t make shelf-clearing any better.
I found Shredded Wheat on clearance for $1.99 and I received the $1.00 RR also. With coupons and the RR it was only 50 cents a box.

I rolled my right guard rr with the 2rr from cover girl. I stocked up on makeup for me and deo for my hubby…win win 🙂

Well, the Grape Nuts cereal is still not producing the RR and the manager at my store said that it was not part of the post ad but it was pricing at $2.50, so go figure that one out! Today was the last straw for me, I asked for a refund and left and will probably take my business elsewhere. Too many times I leave Walgreens scratching my head and wondering what when wrong. I don’t need the frustration or embarrassment….end of rant!

The Grape Nuts cereals produced the RR for me here in northern California, but not the 2 Almay i-intense Eye products. Anybody tried the Almay deal ? If so, what did you buy that worked ?
Hey Everyone!!! I found an awsome unadvertised deal at my WAGS!!!! They have spiderman (berries and marshmellows) cereal and it is marked $1.99 but is an unadvertised sale and is ringing up $1!!! There were also $1/2 Kelloggs coupon peelies on all the boxes at walmart making them 50 cents per box! This is an awsome deal on kid’s cereal! There was also Mio Water Enhancer for $2 and there is a $1/1 coupon in the 6/10SS making them $1 each! I love my wags clearance!!
