But it says right after that , u can have 4 of the same in each transaction? Kinda strange

I saw that too! What does that mean? This would lead me to think that you can use up to 4 of this coupon in one transaction.

I scanned it so I can look at it all blown up (and way easier to read!).

It says “(1) coupon per person” – which I understand as (1) of that specific coupon.

“No more than (4) coupons (of any kind) for the same product in the same transaction.” – which I understand as you can’t have more than 4 Cortaid coupons in your transaction even if you got them somewhere else.

So only one insert coupon and (3) other Cortaid coupons max (printable, home mailer, whatever) in your transaction.

I tried to use the coupons yesterday on the .5 oz and was told it was trial size and the coupon says ETS.

In regards to the “Limit one coupon per person” statment, I looked at other coupons I have, including the Chex Mix coupon, and they ALL state: “Limit one coupon per person” or “One coupon per purchase of specified product(s).” I’ve never had an issue with it so I’m going to give it a try today. I’ll let you know how it goes. ๐Ÿ™‚

I’m used to “one per purchase” (like if you are purchasing (2) you can use 2) but not one per person – crazy!

Jane January 9, 2012 at 5:55 pm

One per person means something entirely different than 1 per specified item. One per person means one per person. One per specifies item means 1 coupon per item. I’m not sure how you can argue it means something else. Very few coupons state”one per person” 99% of them state one per item specified. ๐Ÿ™‚

With the deal idea 1/22, am I reading it wrong?

buy 2 for $3.99
TTL 7.98
-3
-2
-2
Free? I come up with .98/.49ea

What am I doing wrong?

The $2/1 In ad coupon will actually take money off for both products so you only need (1) coupon but it takes off for both.

(1) – $2/1 In ad Coupon for Cortaid (takes off for both)

So with the $3/1 coupon, the $2/1 coupon and the $2 In Ad coupon, you would get $1.02 overage on your other items, YMMV. (hand the In Ad coupon last)

So I tried to use the $3/1 coupon from the SS insert at Walmart today for the $2.50 cortaid and they wouldn’t take it b/c it only had the one barcode problem. Has anyone had that problem at Walgreens?
