Hello
I have a question on the Brita filter. I already bought the Brita filter on Saturday . And I came across the offer of a 5$ off maufactuer coupon today. I will be sending the mail-in rebate form with the original cash register receipt. But to redeem the 5$ off manufacturer coupo,n is it OK to just send the coupon to the mailing address which is in El Paso TX since my original cash register receipt will be gone for the mail-in rebate? Note: the mail-in rebate form has a different a different postal address in Michigan.

I don’t think it is possible to get any coupon value credited directly from the manufacturer. If I were you, I would just return it and then re-buy it using the coupon and send in the new receipt for the rebate. 🙂

If you use the $5 off qpon will you still get the full $10 rebate?

Since the post stated “Free or $5 MM”, she doesn’t know if the rebate will deduct the coupon or not.

I always try to get a rebate receipt, but if I can’t, then I think it’s a good idea to buy it with other items that I needed so that it isn’t so obvious that I used a $5 coupon for the pitcher. If there are other items on the receipt then the rebate people don’t really know what the $5 coupon was for, so they can’t dock it from your total rebate. 🙂

Oh wow, lol, I am way too happy about this. It makes me feel like I finally understand all this stuff to have pointed out a deal. I will report back when I get my rebate.

Thanks!

Keep in mind, it’s only a 5-cup pitcher, which is just over a quart. So it’s more of a personal size pitcher, rather than a family size. Might be nice to keep at work.

Or if you just get a rebate receipt, you know for sure you’ll end up with a $5 MM! 😉

Look near paper products or near like ziploc containers.

I got my Brita rebate today – the full ten bucks (I did not get a “rebate” receipt or anything like that, just sent the regular Wags receipt.) So, this was a 5 dollar money maker for me after all. Since the rebate is good until next year, and the Walgreen’s regular price is 10 bucks, if a coupon comes out again, this should still be a money maker.
