Osteo Bi-Flex Just $.50 a Box

by Christie Bisbee on September 12, 2011

The Osteo Bi-Flex that is $19.99 did ring up B1G1 for me this week. I know that last week only the $29.99 seemed to be ringing up for B1G1 sale but this week it seems to be ringing up correctly. So if you still have those $7/1 coupons, this is the week to buy these.

You can use both the $7/1 Osteo-Bi Flex Manufacturer coupon and the $5/1 Walgreens coupon from the September book on these. However the Walgreens coupon will only come off for one of the boxes. Even so, that’s still just $.50. That’s an amazing price for this!

***DEAL IDEA***
Buy (2) Osteo Bi Flex 40ct $19.99 B1G1 FREE
(2) -$7/1 Osteo Bi-Flex Caplet, Softgel Or Powder, Any (Excl Liquids) – 08-07-11 RP x9/20
(1) – $5/1 Osteo Bi-Flex (5131) Walgreens Coupon Sept. Book (only takes off $5)
Total = $.50 EACH!

Not at my stores. 🙁 It rang up exactly like I laid it out. Maybe your store still has the old registers?

Yup me too! Mine didn’t adjust the price so i got a $4 overage! Great suprise!

I bet it depends on whether your store has the newer (more computerized) registers or not. I have had things work totally different at different stores depending on that. One of my favorite stores just got the newer registers with the large monitors, and it actually has cost me money at times!! LOL

I bought 4 and the wags coupon took off $20 but then when I looked at my reciept — it did the BOGO reduction at $14.99 — so still 50 cents each.

That’s what my crt looked like too. I bought 10 and used the ivc – it took off $50.00 and the bogo was at 14.99 instead of 19.99. Still had some $7 man q’s so still a good enough deal. The ivc was scanned at the very end of my transaction. My sister uses these too so hopefully I can find more tomorrow.

I saw the sale yesterday at Wags in NW IN – It didn’t ring up BOGO last week, so I still had my coupons. The register took off 1/$5 and wouldn’t accept the 2/$7 mfg coupons. Manager wouldn’t adjust the coupons –

my wags won’t let me use coupons on free items:( should I call corporate or is it a managers decision to honor the coupon?

My WAGS won’t let me use a coupon book Q with a REAL MQ. It is really frustrating because the coupon books are so obviously not an MQ!

I miss out on alot of the cool matchups because up it. Oh well. They still have some good enough deals that I can’t divorce them.

@Kaitlin: It states very clearly in their coupon policy they accept mfg. coupons on a ‘free’ item. If printing that and bringing it to the mgr’s attention doesn’t help, might be time to change Walgreens, or contact someone higher up to help.

@Lindsey: There is so much confusion within Walgreens management regarding the monthly coupon booklets-depends on where you live and the way the wind is blowing I think. lol. Good luck, I know this one frustrates me too sometimes.

I tried it 2 different times last week, when it wasn’t working correctly and had different experiences. The 1st time at one location the cashier manually adjusted the price for one @19.98 and the 2nd and .01. I did have other items with my osteo purchase and I only got $5.00 off from the booklet. The 2nd time the cashier rang up 1 @10.00 and the second for $9.99 and it took off $10 from the book, which was a great surprise!!!

does anyone know if the $29.99 ones are now taking off the $5 coupon or does it still beep?

It is in their coupon policy that a cents off (I assume a dollar off as well) can be used with a B1G1 coupon or promotion. Good luck…

My store has the old registers but I don’t have then $7 coupon only $3 off. If i bought 2 bottles and used 2 $3 coupons plus the $5 Walgreens book my total would be $4 plus tax I think. Is that right?

I just tried another Walgreens in my NW IN area. Register again wouldn’t accept the $7 mfg coupons. As before, the manager informed me that the Walgreens booklet coupon was a mfg coupon. I called corporate and was told: it is up to the store manager. When it comes to coupon issues, wouldn’t it be nice if all were on the same page?

Are the $7 mfg coupons beeping or going through for everyone else?

My store clerk ended up calling the manager. My transaction rang up $19.99 for both, but when they had issues with using all 3 Qs. The register ended up taking $10 off with the Walgreens Q and I only used 1 $7 Q. $19.99 – $10.00 – $7.00 = $2.99. Fine by me for $40 worth of the stuff.

I had bought the lat 2 boxes they had at that store, so I’ll try again this evening at the Walgreens by the house and see what I come up with.

I hope this work….
***Because you are buying two items and using your 2 $7 off you have to add to other items as fillers for the machine to take the book coupons. I hope it work if i can find the 7off mq..

If you think you are getting overages this week, make sure to check your receipts before you get $4 worth of fillers you don’t really need and wouldn’t normally get!

The cheapest Osteo at my stores is $21.99. I got 4 and used 4 $7/1 MQs and the Wags book took off $20. HOWEVER, when the cashier hit the subtotal button, the register only took off $16.99 twice for the free ones. And this was with the old cash registers.

So in what order do i give the coupons? I am always getting beeped? Is it always wags Q’s first cause sometime when i do that it still beeps? Thanks in advance!

My Wags didn’t have it marked but the 30 count, ONE PER DAY for $19.99 also came up BGLP. Register took off $10 from Wags book, both $7 MQs and $14.99 for the free one.

I did this at a brand new store (just opened last week!), and the register took off $10 after scanning the Walgreens coupon book for the 2 packages that I bought. They don’t usually give me overage, but after all of the coupons, my 2 50 count bottles ($22.99 regular price each) gave me $1.01 in overage. I don’t know if the coupon order makes a difference, but the cashier did scan the booklet coupon before my manufacturer coupons. My husband has been wanting to try this product. Thank you!

hmmmm, this is a product I don’t nirmally use due to it’s price, but I think I am going to have to dig through my coupon pile I was sending oversees. I might just have to try this product.
