Here’s a deal for you on chips that will make your cashier happy too! You may have noticed that there are various bags of $.99 chips near the front of the store. Those chips, including the Kettle Cooked Lays you see pictured and the Fritolay Artisan chips are producing a $1/1 Catalina coupon for the larger bags every time you buy one. Plus they are the suggestive sell for the cashiers, so they get credit every time you buy a little bag. (And they are tasty – hubby and I split this bag).
The Catalina reads…
-$1/1 Bag of Tostitos, Lay’s Kettle Cooked or SunChips snacks 8.5oz+
You can then use the Catalina to grab one of the Tostitos bags that are on sale for 2/$5, making them just $1.50 each. Or you can hold it for a future sale since the Catalina is good until September. Mine printed with a 9/4 expiration date. We don’t see too many coupons for these products so it’s a nice way to save and help out a friendly cashier. 🙂

Since the sign for the big bag of chips says $3.99 each or 2/$5, do you need to buy two bags of the little chips to get two $1 coupons? And if so, I guess you would have to do two transactions to get a coupon each time?

I did two transactions to get the (2) cats and then just bought (2) bags. They’ll be 2/$5 on different Frito-lay products on and off for the next few weeks here. 🙂
