Try New Products With House Party!

by Christie Bisbee on June 14, 2011

I love House Party! I got my box of goodies to host my Breakstone’s Sour Cream Flavor Lovers House Party on Saturday. I’m so excited. I received a chip and dip bowl and spatula, cutting boards for my guests, product coupons and recipe books for my guests and FREE product coupons for me to pick up supplies for my party. I can’t wait to try some of the yummy recipes. I live by the motto that everything is better with some sour cream on top! 🙂

If you love trying new stuff and sharing it with your friends you’ll want to check out House Party. They always have all kinds of cool events you can apply for. All of their events are GREAT so you’ll enjoy any of the House Parties you get to host. I’ve hosted several and they are always a big hit. There are always new House Parties coming up that you can apply for so check it out HERE.

I love House Party! I got selected to host the Philly Cream Cheese one in March and will be hosting the Velveeta Skillet party this month! I would’ve never tried the philly cooking cream cheese and it’s now one of my favorite things to cook with!

I’ve been wanting to try to host a house party. Can someone explain to me what it entails? Do I report the party back to the company? Is there a specified amount of people? Do I have to purchase something? Etc. Basically what does it look like from start to finish? Thank you!

I absloutely love HP!! I’ve been a member since the beginning and got to do a few party’s over the last couple years and there always such a blast.
I had gotten one in forever so was really excited when I won the velveeta one…my stuff came yesterday…can’t wait to try it out…the cheesburger looks delish…hoping it’s better than Hamburger helper.
Not sure about this bbq one though lol…but we’ll give it a try.

It’s really easy!! After you sign up for the site you can go and apply for any of the party’s they have up for application….it’s really easy to apply…they just get info on you and about if you like the product or not and asks to agree to have at least 10 people and have it on the date they want you too…and then it in a couple weeks or so they pick randomonly the “winners” and then they email you one way or another. They ask you when you apply for a party if you’d be willing to talk to the media if they wanted too…or something like that…but i’ve never had to.
After the party date they’ll email you and ask you to take a survey about your party.
Hope that helps!! If you have any more questions just let me know.:)

Thanks for the info Sarah! Another question, what if you can’t find 10 ladies to come on the same day, does it disqualify you? And will the company requires any information from my friends?

It asks you how many people you plan on inviting and it does say somewhere in there about agree to have a party with 10+ guests but i’m not sure if they’d really not accept the application if you said you were going to invite less than 10 people.
I’m not one to suggest “lying” but in my opinion if you were planning on inviting 10+ people and you told them you were but you never know things can happen and people can not show up…get sick, get busy, etc lol. I don’t think just because you don’t have atleast 10 people to come doesn’t mean that you won’t have any less of a party:D

Also if you a party when they email you about it you will have to accept the offer to have the party and you’ll set up a party page on Houseparty(it’s easy-you just put date, place, info, etc) and they ask you to invite the people that you are inviting that have email so you can send an email to them but it’s not required so you don’t have to worry about proving you invited 10+ people.:)
