Saturday, April 30 is the March of Dimes March for Babies event in most communities. It might not be as fun as decorating an apron, but it’s a good cause and there should be a lot of fun. I know the local walk by us is going to have face painting and a jumpy castle! Also, it’s a good chance to walk off all those peeps!

If you live in the Salt Lake City area, there will be a Japanese festival downtown today (Sat. Apr. 30), just south of the Energy Solutions Arena (Delta Center). Free admission.

Japanese food, martial arts demos, traditional dances, Japanese music, etc.

I forgot to mention the festival runs from 10 am to 5 pm. Let’s hope the snow melts by then!
