I ran home between shops to give you some important updates! I’ll have more later but I wanted to get this out to you ASAP.
SINEX DEAL
The Sinex was not printing the Register Reward at my store. As you can see in my picture the signs in the store clearly say that it runs till 3/26. I would suggest NOT buying the Sinex until they get it figured out and the Register Reward starts printing again. If you did buy Sinex and the Register Reward didn’t print I suggest returning the item or calling Catalina and telling them what happened. After all if Walgreens has these signs everywhere with dates for a deal, it should be honored. I’ll let you know when I find out more!
APPLIED NUTRITION
Some of the Applied Nutrition Total Body Defense had coupons inside the boxes for $1/1. If you find those in your boxes that will make it a $1 Money Maker! So, be sure to check.
MOTRIN
The Motrin on sale at my store was the PM in the picture. Like I mentioned in my previous posts the IB was listed but the Motrin was pictured. So I listed all the coupons that might apply. If you printed the $1/1 I listed you’ll have a $1 Money Maker to use when you run out of $6/2 coupons. The $6/2 coupons did not beep for me at the store with the old registers, however it beeped at the store with the silly new registers.
I’ll adjust the scenario to reflect the changes & hope they get the Sinex fixed SOON!

Anabel – They are back. I needed to pull them and adjust them because of the Vicks Register Reward not printing. So they are back and updated. 🙂
Christie I need help and advice. Today I took the deal scenario in to do. However, today and the last time I tried to apply RR’s with a manufactured coupon they told me I could not use together. All my Register Rewards print with manufactur’s coupon on it and they won’t take them with a coupon. What is going on? What can I do? I didn’t argue I just accepted but in their ad it clearly states it’s an RR but prints with manufacture coupon on the top. Thanks for any tips and advice Cindy
A RR is a manufacturer coupon…so you can not use them together…you can only use a walgreens coupon with a manufacturer coupon…walgreens coupons are the ones in the flyer or the coupon book by the flyers. If you want to use a manufacturer coupon and a RR on the same item you will have to buy something really cheap like a caramel buy the checkout. That way you are using the manufacturer coupon for the item you want and RR for the really cheap item. Sometimes it is a pain but it is sooo worth it! Hope this helps!

Does anyone know if the in ad coupon for $5.29 nyquil took off money if you bought the sinex nyquil?

you do not get your coupons back on a reutnr in my experience unless you do it immediately so they can void the transaction. Hey christie, we got $5 the venus razors and they have a $4 register reward was not sure if you were aware of this great deal.
The $5 coupon is for the razor AND refill pack.
So does the RR print if you buy Motrin IB? I dont like the motrin PM. ????

Denny – they didn’t even have 20 ct regular Motrin at my store! Only 24 ct regular. They said that, because Motrin pm was pictured, even though the text said “Motrin IB pain reliever”, it was only for PM:(
Can anybody confirm if it’s printing the RR for regular nyquil? Maybe sinex isn’t included this time? I hope that’s not the case because my hubby uses this stuff and I ordered a lot of these coupons!
Leah – I did it with 2 Nyquil and 2 Dayquil (all liquid 10 oz) and the RR did not print. The cashier told me to come back tomorrow morning to talk totheur head manager – I did not look in-store for any signs advertising it, so I told her I only heard about the deal online. So I don’t know how this I going to go over tomorrow!
[email protected] Email the catalina company and let them know you did not get your catalina. They will respond with an email and tell you 4 to 6 weeks for your catalina. But I have done this several times and gotten mine with 7 days. Works great and you dont have to argue with anyone at the store.

I don’t see the Motrin, Colgate or Poligrip money maker RR deals in my ad. Can I still expect to get them if I buy the item?
Doug – They are in a little wrap around that go around the ad. Are you looking at your ad in your delivered Sunday paper or that you grabbed at the store? Are you in a test market? If you are in a test market (and you would know if you were) then you may not have it. But otherwise, maybe the wrap is just missing.
I’d go to the store and if the Motrin is ringing up $3 chances are good you’ll get your RR.

Forget my Wags trip. I live in a test market. Haven’t really shopped at Wags since they started. Takes too long to earn any rewards there.
I agree! This test market business is a joke! I figured we would get at least 1 item free after the RR, but nothing! ick!
I just emailed Walgreens Corporate and told them about my dislike of the program. I also stated the fact that I have a CVS across from every Walgreens I shop at.
I did buy the following today: 2 – Puffs w/Vicks, 2 Vicks Cough drops, 2 – Simply Orange, 1 – Cadbury Egg (my hubby’s reward for driving) – $4.77 after coupons.
And to add to it, the Wags employees at my stores are not coupon friendly at all. They ALWAYS have to get a manager.
Love the site….I try to shop Wags when the test market doesn’t get in the way.
Keep an eye out for -$1 peelies on the NasoGel to. They were on mine and had no expiration date.
I found that $1.00 peelie too, and right next to it, there were $3.00 peelies on the NediPot. I grabbed it and took a look, it said on “any” NeilMed product, so I used it on the Naso-gel!

My friend convinced me to go to walgreens today and get the colgate and baby magic. I purchased the Colgate (no coupon) and got a 3 RR, then tried to purchase the Baby Magic and they wouldn’t let me. The cashier said I needed another item- why (I had to buy a small item)? Then, after doing the baby magic with another item, I rolled the RR to buy another colgate (with a small item). Then, when I tried to get another baby magic the computer/register wouldn’t let me. The cashier said that I reached my limit- how could that be? Their registers don’t keep count. Did I do something wrong?
I thought I didn’t need a filler and just could keep rolling and going with both items-
If you weren’t using any Manufacturer Qs, you should have been able to roll this deal without fillers. 1 item to 1 Manufacturer Q. You must have had a rude cashier. I try to keep my transactions to 3 maximum (usually just 2) just so I can keep a good relationship with my cashiers. I just visit 2 stores if I want to stock up more. Today I was able to use the $6/2 Q for the Motrin with beepage, but my cashiers pushed it through with no issues. Happy to see my Wags all nicely stocked with all these deals this morning. Maybe because not too many shop on Sundays in Utah, only me!
I think I realized now what happened to you. The Colgate is $2.99 and you were using a $3 RR. You can’t use RR to pay taxes so that is why you needed a small item. You should be able to roll the $3 Colgate RR to the Baby Magic though since the Baby Magic is $3.
I did exactly this transaction and they let me do it. I purchased Colgate first, got a RR, then did Baby Magic Right after it, and used the $3.00 RR. Anyways, the Baby Magic, which was the 2nd transaction wasn’t $2.99, it was $3.00.
That is exactly what happened, I went to another store and the cashier told me…the colgate is 2.99 so I had to buy a pencil for $0.12 as a filler. So complicated!
Just got back from 2 stores, and I barely found 2 Motrins. My $6/2 coupon beeped, but the cashier push it through, and got $3 RR. Also I bought an Nice n’ Easy hair color using a free coupon, and got $1 RR.(when I used a free product coupon in the past, it didn’t create RR, so bit worried)
I did the sinex deal today and got no catalina.

I tried to do the Sinex deal (before I had a chance to see on this website that it wouldn’t work), and since there were only 2 Sinex pills, I purchased a Sinex spray to try to fill it out. As with everyone else, I didn’t get the Register Reward, but I did get a catalina for a free Afrin nasal spray up to $7! I thought that was pretty nice. Also, I’m sure because I got the 2 Motrin PMs, I got a catalina for $2 off Advil PM. Not as good as free, but it may be a useful coupon for later. The Nasogel at our store also all had $1 peelies. I love getting paid to shop!
Went to 3 WAGS and not a single Motrin PM. Guess I was to late.
For those not getting their motrin today, I’d check back in a couple of days. I was told that sometimes their ad items don’t come in until later in the week. Happened with me a couple of different times on different items. HTH. 😉
All the stores had new scanners in them today. The cashiers had so much trouble getting them to just scan. They had to type in most of the coupons and a good portion of the register rewards. Normally the stores I shop at have a good stock, but every thing was wiped out by noon today. Not a single box of Motrin. Thanks for the updates and love your site.
I looked and looked for the Baby Magic and could not find it!! Where did ya’ll find it (wasn’t with the baby stuff and wasn’t in the area towards the front of the store where they put new/sale items)?
Found the baby magic with the baby stuff but Johnsons and Johnsons was displayed. On the very bottom shelf I saw baby magic. Had to get on my knees cause it was towards the back. Only 2 bottles of wash and 2 lotions.
what the heck is up with motrin!!! went to 9 stores YES NINE and only 1 had motrin….what did they all pull them for some reason or are the managers really that bad at ordering….what a bunch of crap. but got lots of other good stuff and money makers…so im still very happy

1. how many RR were supposed to print off?

checked in my box of the applied nutrition anti aging and there are a bunch of coupons for different applied nutrition vitamins but none for the anti aging that is on rr deal this week. What coupons are you referring to when you say that there is a coupon for this deal? TIA
One of those coupons is for the same item you just bought. So you could have cut it out and used it on the item you were purchasing or cut it out now and use it to buy another one.

You’ve GOT to do a price check on the bags of Hersheys Bliss at your store…all 4 varieties were ringing at $1.00 yesterday (sunday) for a few different people across the country. If they haven’t fixed it yet, then you get them for free with the $1/2 manf Q from the 2/27 SS stacked with the $1/2 Q from the March Q book. I had 6 manf Q’s so I got 12 bags for free last night!! If your store has signs on the shelves like in the picture of this post, I would go bring it to the manager’s attention. Sometimes if you have a good manager they’ll issue a gift card. I had that happen last year when a RR didn’t print and they did this. YMMV though, but it doesn’t hurt to ask!
