How does that work since according to the new coupon policy the Olay coupon would have to be adjusted down to the price of the bodywash?

I did this deal last night and it worked. They did not adjust the coupon down at all!

I did this a few nights ago and it worked perfect for me (in Central CA).

I think it’s ridiculous how some people want to complain so much about not being allowed to use certain coupons yet when they do something completely wrong like using a $5 coupon on something way under the price it’s “fine” because the “cashier doesn’t care”. Hmmm. Sad.

@ Guest,
First of all, it is hard to read ‘tone’ when reading a post. Although possibly unintended, I find your response to be rude and accusing. It is read in a way that is seen as offensive and quite frankly, I don’t like it. This is a quote from Christie herself about the exact coupon in question.

“The best part is that this particular coupon didn’t beep for the $.01 of overage like 99.9% of manufacturer coupons do at Walgreens. So no worrying about adjusting the coupon down for a penny and all that nonsense. I find that often P&G coupons (and really ONLY P&G coupons) will occasionally give actual overage.”

I hope that all have a wonderful Thanksgiving. 🙂

Guest – Plenty of store chains give overage regularly since they are going to get reimbursed the full value of the coupon. If your store (or you as an employee at your store) adjust the coupon down to the value of the Olay it would still be a great deal. Most stores that I have been in sadly refuse to adjust coupons down even thought their coupon policy says they do. I am happy to hear that your store adjusts coupons down for customers.

Gina – Happy Thanksgiving to you too! 🙂
