I just went to my local walgreens. I saw the 3/$15 John Frieda sale going on, but there is no mention of the $5 RR. I looked at the Biore deal too, and there was no sign anywhere. I am a bit scared to do these deals and use all of my coupons and not get the RR. Should I try it without the coupons and if it works, return what i bought and use my coupons in another transaction? What is your advice?
I think you are smart to want back up in case your RR doesn’t print and that’s why I tell people to look for a sign. Unfortunately many of the stores aren’t good about putting up signs so you may never get a sign and miss a good deal. You may want to tell the cashier that you saw a sign on the John Frieda at another store and would like to try the deal but will return it if it doesn’t print the RR. Or you could wait till next week when the RR deal is in the ad (advertised as 2/$15 get a $5 RR back). Hopefully your store will get it’s signs up soon and you can do your deals with confidence!
Went and am back… did 3 deals in a row! The RR is rolling!!!
My store rarely has signs on the weekly deals, let along the monthly. I must totally rely on the ad-in-hand from week to week, but luck and the blogs for month long deals.
I wish they would fix this. And no, the employees have no clue…
