GREAT Mighty Dog Deal

by Christie Bisbee on March 29, 2010

Mighty Dog is on Mega Saver this Month 5/$4. If you got the Mighty Dog coupon in yesterdays paper there is a GREAT deal to be had.

Buy a Total of 6 Cans
5 Mighty Dog 5.5oz Cans 5/$4
1 Mighty Dog 5.5oz Can $.99
Use
-$3/5 Purina Mighty Dog, 5.5oz cans – 03-28-10 SS
-FREE Purina Mighty Dog, Any 5.5 oz can – 03-28-10 SS -(valid up to $0.99)

Total $1 or under $.17 a can!

If you didn’t get the FREE can coupon but you have the $3/5 coupon you would end up paying $1 for 5 cans or $.20 a can, a great deal either way!

(Thanks WhoSaidNothingInLifeIsFree for the heads up on the Q!)

I have a question about the WAGS coupon booklets. You always refer to using a coupon from the WAGS coupon booklet plus a manufacturer’s coupon. I have noticed, though, that the coupons in that booklet say Manufacturer’s coupon. Wouldn’t that mean that you can’t combine it with another coupon? I’ve combined them before, but then the cashier overrides the computer. It also is listed as a Manufacturer’s coupon on the receipt. I was just wondering, so if you have insight on this it would be helpful. Thanks!

The coupons that just have a bar code like a bunch of zeros and just a 4 digit code at the end are Walgreens coupons. They don’t need to collect them because they don’t send them to the clearing house for reimbursement like a true MQ. Sometimes Wags will have a real MQ in one of it’s ads or books like the soda coupon in this weeks ad. Wags uses a 4 digit code for their store coupons so you can use that as a guide.
