DiGiorno 12 Inch Pizza Just $1.79!

I struck GOLD at one of my stores (or at least my hubby thought so!). I found DiGiorno Rising Crust Three Meat Pizza on clearance for just $1.79! The other DiGiorno were regular price, so I’m guessing they may not carry this one any longer.

I didn’t have a coupon and I don’t know of any current coupons for these but it was still a GREAT deal! I continue to find clearance on the frozen food items so I suggest you check that section every time you are in the store!

I bought two of those last week for 1.29 each. (I’d never had them before but they are GOOD.) Another store I stopped at today has them on “clearance” for $5.29! I did not buy those! I guess each store decides what their clearance price is?

Anne March 22, 2011 at 2:46 pm: yep, you’re right. We get a notice from headquarters that certain items will no longer be carried. When we want to make room for new products, we might reduce the price by 20% at first to see if they sell. Then to sell them through, we reduce it finally to about 75% off. Always keep looking for the orange tags. We change them all the time 🙂

Wow, I sure hope to find those! I have a $1 off DiJiorno from a Safeway Frozen Foods booklet, so they would be super cheap after coupon (if I can find them at my store)!

i have a coupon for $4 off any Digiorno pizza 12 inches or larger that I got from a House Party, so I buy 3 for $1.37

I don’t like this pizza, so i’ll just use it to pay it forward by giving it to someone behind me in line. 🙂

Just went to my local one & they weren’t on clearance, they wanted 6.99 for them! But, I’ll keep looking to see if they do reduce them to the clearance price, because I also have the coupons from the Safeway coupon booklet!

My store didn’t have any but I found tons of food on clearance-stouffers, pf changs meals for 2, mini pizza, lean cuisines, healthy choice meals, and icecrem! I spent 18$ and saved 65$ on the food items!

Or is the Safeway Coupon Booklet you mention Manufacture coupons that Walgreens will take? Not store coupons for Safeway?

I saw a peelie at one my my local grocery stores. Buy 2 12 inch or larger Digiorno pizzas and save $1. This peelie was next to the Kraft grated parmesan cheese.
