Are clearance markdowns regional or is is usually safe to have them check the item and it’s an unmarked clearance? Just wondering if these posts would apply to most stores. I have seen a bunch of nut markdowns lately online but when I go into Wags, they aren’t marked down. Cause they would usually make great filler items!
The way they clearance items at stores is a but unusual. They won’t be on clearance at all stores and it’s not a regional thing either. An item on clearance in Georgia might also be found on clearance in Ohio but not at a store down the street. So with the clearance posts I always say it’s like a heads up. If you see something you like keep it in mind and check next time you are in your store. For example lots of people found the clearance Fusion Gamer razors all over the county. However they were only on clearance in 4 of the 7 stores in my immediate area. Also, lots of clearance items are items they aren’t going to carry anymore. If they sold well in one store they may never go on clearance they’ll just stop ordering them.
