You can read the full terms and conditions HERE, and I suggest you do which is where I found these important  things…

· Walgreens Cash rewards for in-store purchases will be awarded to the Member’s account 3-5 days after purchase.
[UPDATE – I got the cash rewards immediately this weekend so I don’t know if this is some sort of incorrect information or they have not completely made the changes to the program. The in-store signage for already reads Cash Rewards not balance rewards, but the receipts are still calling them balance rewards.]

· Items ordered online using the “store pickup” feature will only earn Walgreens Cash rewards after the items have been picked up from the store.

· Rewards Promotions for Walgreens Cash rewards for online purchases will be awarded to the Member’s account once the entire order has shipped.

· Walgreens Cash rewards will not be earned on the portion of a transaction that was paid for using Walgreens Cash rewards or store credit. [which is what happens now with Balance Rewards].

Be sure to let Walgreens know if what you think of the new program. If you have time to call or post to their FB page.

3-5 DAYS AFTER PURCHASE??!! That means we won’t be able to check receipt immediately to see if the “reward” was credited, like we can now with the points. That probably means no in-store corrections either, like the manager can opt to do now. We may have to spend tons of time on the phone with headquarters to get missing credits.

I don’t understand how this program works. Do you mean each time I pay for something I have to tell the clerk my email address or name and phone number? It seems pretty simple to me to just hand them the card. I do not have a cell phone or whatever and do not intend to buy one. I don’t intend to spend several thousand dollars to buy one to save a buck. I’ve looked all over your websites and can’t find a phone number to discuss this with anyone. You talk about my account. What account?
