Balance Rewards is ending! Walgreens is replacing it with something called myWalgreens which they call a “one–of–a–kind program that makes saving, shopping & your well–being easy.” They are also saying Beauty Enthusiast is also getting a makeover. The program is ending 10/31. They promise you’ll continue to earn rewards on your favorite beauty purchases and much more with the new program.
The Balance Rewards membership does not automatically transfer and you’ll need to sign up for myWalgreens, however we’ve not been told how to sign up yet but we will have to do it by January 31, 2021 in order to keep our points balance. They say you’ll keep your benefits and earn more rewards but do not specify how… When you sign up for myWalgreens, the remaining Balance Rewards points balance will roll over to your new account, where you will still be able to earn and redeem.
Check out the FAQ that they have released as of now. They are not giving full details or a firm start date yet. All we know is the Beauty Enthusiast will end by 10/31.
