OK so this mysterious $10 off coupon was corrected yesterday evening — finally! It was indeed the Beauty Boost coupon. You’ll earn $10 for spending $20 on Beauty. However, check your app. It’s possible some of these coupons are different, see if yours was fixed like mine. I grabbed a scenario online but the stuff has not shipped. I’m hoping it works just fine. If you got a deal in-store, be sure to let us know how it works for you.
Remember that if you use Walgreens coupons, like the one from the December book, or a Senior discount, you must reach the $20 threshold after all these coupons are applied, but BEFORE any manufacturer’s coupons.
So far I’ve not seen any difference in how the balance rewards points have worked compared to the Cash Rewards of the things that I’ve tried. They are just calling them something different. Even though in the fine print it read Cash rewards would be awarded 3 days later, I’ve not seen this at all. If I buy something giving cash rewards, I get them right away. Remember in the old days occasionally (In fact even rarely) we would get a message on our receipt that the points would be added later. I haven’t seen this, but it may be that that statement may have referred to that rare instance.
The Sneak peek coupon for $5 off does not appear to have been fixed. It reads $5 off; however, some of you were saying it read starting 12/6, but mine just reads thru 12/31. IT could be it’s a different coupon but I JUST got an email reminding me that I have an offer to earn $5 cash rewards if I make 6 purchases $20 or more thru 12/31, so I’m guessing this is that $5 coupon that I have. The coupon still reads $5 off but that’s what happened to the Beauty Boost coupon. First it read $10 off, then I got the email describing it, then it was fixed in the app. Let us know if you have something different! myWalgreens has promised more personal deals so these may all vary. It’s just they failed to described them properly 🙁 .

I just checked and my $10 off coupon now says for beauty. Thanks for keeping us updated. I had several employees in two Wakgreens perplexed as to why it wasn’t working earlier this week on my non beauty purchases.
