Deals with Walgreens July Coupon Book

by Christie Bisbee on June 22, 2011

If the Lumene make up remover is included, can I get the make up remover and mask for free by using the overage from the $4 manu coupon on the remover for the mask?

I was thinking along the same lines. If they scan the MQ first and the Store Q second there would be overage right, if the casier doesn’t adjust.

Christie,

Thanks for the great site. I check it every day, but I have a question. Aren’t the coupons in the monthly savings booklets manufacturers’ coupons (MFC), and therefore can’t be combined with other MFC as your senarios suggest?

Hi Nan – No, they are really store coupons. They have a (4) digit code and you couldn’t use them anywhere else. There are some store managers who have issues with this but Walgreens is constantly advertising that you can stack them. You can see some posts about that HERE.

Thank you, Christie! A manager at the Walgreens I shop at here on Maui has said no to coupon stacking. This gives me more information, and I’ll try it again. I’m going to start collecting any Walgreens ads that feature stacking too. Love your site!

The Lumene deal made me VERY excited! Until I checked Walgreens.com to see if our store carried that product… and the website is saying that isn’t a product sold in actual stores, but is available online only.
