Hi — Does anyone know what to do with expired RR’s? I have $28 that expired last night! I am so mad at myself for doing this!

Jen, I still use them. I just hand mine over like I normally would and never once have they beeped. This hasn’t happened often and was only with a couple smaller ones I had and forgot about, but worth a try!! And one of mine was a few days expired and still no beeps. Hope it works for you!

While they might not beep, using expired RR (or any coupon for that matter) is illegal.

Jen – Speak to your store manager about it, they may be able to help you.

Elizabeth – I use a similar system, sort of a hybrid of both your systems. I keep them in order from lowest to highest and in order of expiration. I keep the one’s I HAVE to use this week together, and the ones I have an extra week on in a different pile.

I’m link #1.

And I agree with Drew – I have always asked and every store in my area has says that they won’t take expired RR’s. In the envelope I use for Walgreens that I keep in my purse, I used to keep my RR’s in order from lowest to highest value for ease when checking out, but I have found over time that it is much more helpful to keep them in order of expiration date to force yourself to use them before they expire!!

That’s what I do also Christie – a sort within a sort! It determines the scenarios I come up with for myself.

I’m link #4

By the way, my Wags cashier gave me hell over the Purex Qs, but then adjusted them down anyway after telling me it was coupon fraud. How is it coupon fraud, and why did she do it anyway if it was when I nicely told her that it was ok to remove them from my order? Have any of you run into this?

I use my expired ones at my local cubfoods grocery store. They accept expired coupons up to 3 months and they never beep.
