*HOT* Walgreens Double Register Rewards for Aleve = $0.99 Each!

by Christie Bisbee on April 16, 2012

You can get an awesome deal on Aleve right now with an unadvertised Register Reward deal! The 40ct with the easy open Arthritis cap is printing double Register Rewards: both $10 (for spending $20) AND a bonus $5 from Bayer! That means you can get the 40ct as low as just $0.99 each.

Walgreens Deal
Buy (3) Aleve 40ct $6.99 each
Total = $20.97
(3) $1/1 Aleve Product, 20ct+ exp. 6/30/12 (SS 03/18/12)
Total = $17.98, Get Back $10 RR + $5 RR
= $.99 EACH!

For some of you the $1/1 coupon will be for 80ct+ only, in that case look for $1/1 peelies on the easy open Arthritis bottles. Those are good on the 40ct or 80ct bottles. 🙂 If you can’t find those each bottle will be $1.99 each, which is still a really good deal and a way to roll out of that Nasal Ease Register Reward.

If you get that bonus $5 when purchasing any other Bayer or Aleve items, let us know!

(Thanks for the great deal Sarah! :))

I have a coupon that says save $2 on any Aleve product 40 ct or larger. I don’t remember which insert it was but would this coupon work for this deal?

Just wondering, does the $5 one only print with the “Arthritis”?
Does the $5 read: “thank you for buying Buyer arthritis” or “just thank you for buying Buyer?”
Wish I can buy different Buyer products.
Thank you for the tip Christie 🙂

I had the 2.00 coupon on 40ct in my insert. I am in WI. But the price of the aleve was higher 7.49. So I paid .49 for each one.

Just picked up (3) bottles and had no problems. Too sweeten the deal my MFQ was $2 and the sale price was still $6.99 so after $15 RR earned it was like getting all (3) bottles for FREE.

I had the same good luck, but I was able to get the 24 count regular Aleve & bought 5 at $4.99 and used the $2 Mfq. Still winds up as Free counting the RRs!

Since everyone else is mentioning where they are located, I’m in Indianapolis.

Campanita, The “arthritis” refers to the kind of lid on the bottle, not the kind of Aleve. It’s just regular Aleve with an easier to open bottle.

campanita April 17, 2012 at 3:16 pm

Thank you very much for the clarification Jillian, I wanted to do it yesterday but combining different products, good thing I didn’t.
I went today and grabbed 3 bottles for $7.49 ea and both RR printed, happy that they are regular.
Too bad they have the new registers and the system was crashing, luckily the manager was very patience and nice about it.

I purchased the Aleve deal and used my three $1/1 coupons, with no problem. Just an FYI, I made a second trip into the store and bought 7 bottles of the Bayer low dose aspirin (at $2.99 each), using seven $1/1 coupons, to generate another $10 RR. This time is did not print the additional $5, which is what I suspected. It was still a good deal to get all seven bottles for only $4 plus tax.

I goofed and bought 5 regular aleve at 4.99 a piece. Got the 10 but not the extra 5. Did not even see the arthritis cap. $2 a piece is still ok but not my usual standard to buy this stuff for.

Well that’s a bummer. I got the extra $5. I’m in NE Indiana. hmmmm

Thanks, it worked like a champ! I am in St. Louis, Missouri and our coupons were for $2 off and the Aleve was priced at $7.49 a package for 40 at my Walgreens. I did just try the deal using the “Arthritis” Aleve products and even my cashier was shocked when the 2 register rewards printed out. So I ended up spending just $.49 a package for each bottle.

The Aleve here in Colorado was $6.99. And, I also had the $2/1 40 ct. or larger coupon. Scored the $10 RR and the $5 from Bayer! Thanks so much for this!

I was able to get the double RR today in SE Wisconsin. And to my surprise it also worked on 3 of the regular 50 ct bottles on sale for $6.99. These were the non-arthritis caps. Woohoo!

Can anyone tell me if they are using RR along with the q’s or buying other merchandise with the Aleeve? Also what system, the new registers? I had problems yesterday and my store has the new system/registers. The manager told me that it was because the coupons brought the total to under $20 with the coupons I used so I ended up buying a 4th one so that the total would be over $20

Worked here in WI. Bought 2 of the 40 arthritis cap and 1 of the 50 ct regular. I also used my $9 RR from the nasal ease and bought a can of tomato sauce as my filler!

Leslie April 19, 2012 at 2:12 am

It is not working here in NM. I tried 2 different transactions. The first I got 2 of the arthritis and 1 regular and it gave me only the $10 RR and on the second transaction I got 4 bottles of the regular and it also only printed the $10 RR. What am I doing wrong?

I bought 5 of the bayer and only got the $10 RR. I also bought one 40ct arth cap and one 200 regular which was 14.99 and only got the $10 rr. I guess I will go get the (3) arth cap 40 ct. and see if it works. I just dont have any coupons for them and no peelies.

Still working as of today (Thursday 3/19) in Maryland! I got 3 of the 40 count arthritis cap bottles for $6.99 each and got both the $10 and $5 RRs. Also, if you don’t have coupons – be on the lookout for the “pain & sleep” booklet that says “Answers at Walgreens” on the front. There is a $1.00 MQ for Aleve 24 ct or more that expires 7/31/12 in it. My store has them in a holder in the pain and sleep section by the Aleve and Tylenol and stuff.

Worked for me today in WA. They only had one of the “arthritis cap” type left, so I bought one of those and two of the 50 caplets boxes. Still printed out $15 in RR! Yay
